Fantastic vacation home!

  • 5 of 5

I can't say enough about what a fantastic place this is. The house is completely updated, while retaining a really cozy cabin feeling. The patio area is so nice, you have great views of the lake while you enjoy outdoor dining. And the dock/waterfront is amazing- plenty of area for everyone to sit by the lake and enjoy the gorgeous mountain view. The house exceeded all of our expectations. We will definitely be back!

A very clean, roomy cabin for a family of 4. Picturesque views and a refreshing pond.

Perfect layout for a family that wants to get away and relax. We lucked out and had perfect weather. There's enough to keep busy within 15 minutes of the cabin.

Peaceful getaway

  • 5 of 5

My family and I had a wonderful time at this cabin. The home is located in a quiet association right on the lake. The home itself is small but completely suited our needs for my family of 5. The kitchen was well appointed, the beds comfortable, and the steam shower different! Note (since you need to bring sheets) that there are two bedrooms with queen beds and the pullout in the living room is also a queen. Plus there's an ottoman that turns into a twin.

We spent most of our time outdoors, though, eating all meals on the private patio and roasting s'mores on the propane fire pit (so easy we may get one ourselves!). The private dock has beautiful, peaceful mountain views. The kids swam right off the dock, and we went on numerous kayak and canoe excursions.

Took an excellent 3.6 mile hike up Pleasant Mountain. Plus, we thoroughly enjoyed the little town of Bridgton--went to the movies, walked around the park, visited the cute shops. Reny's department store has anything you could possibly need! Hannaford's is a 13 minute drive from the house (and they will steam lobsters for you).

We highly recommend this home for your Maine getaway!

Beautiful Views and Unforgettable Memories

  • 5 of 5

The accommodations were awesome, waking up every morning sitting on the dock looking at Moose Pond and enjoying the beautiful views of Shawnee Peak Mountain with my first cup of coffee!

I spent a week at this beautiful home with my husband and my elderly Dad (he has terminal cancer). We were looking to spend some quality and relaxing time away with my dad and that is just what we got with this home.

In addition to the beautiful views of Moose Pond and Shawnee Peak Mountain, there were some additional features we appreciated - We enjoyed the amazing shower unit and the seat in it was great for my elderly dad, the fire pit and patio was nice to sit and relax day and night and just spend quality time together. My daughter came up for 3 of the days and I went kayaking with her. FYI its a 2 hour kayak to the 302 boat ramp! The bedrooms and sofa were very comfortable, my daughter slept on the pullout sofa with the memory foam mattress and loved it. My husband fished off the dock and went fishing on his crawdad boat he brought! There was WiFi and plenty of parking. The house was well maintained!

All in all, it was a nice memorable and relaxing vacation for all of us and we spend quality time with my dad. Priceless!

Thank you Dana and we look forward to renting from you again!

Nice lakefront location

  • 4 of 5

This house has a great location on the lake, which is a fun lake to kayak around in. Was a little disappointed that the fire pit wasn't set up yet for us to enjoy but it was great to have the dock out early for us. House was clean, could use a few more kitchen supplies but grill was great to have access to and pellet stove was great to have. Overall would recommend for a lake front adventure.

Tranquility, Peaceful & Relaxing

  • 5 of 5

From the moment we arrived we just felt at peace. The cottage was exactly what we saw on the pictures but being there and seeing it was amazing. The rooms were spacious, clean and the beds were like sleeping on a cloud. My family and I enjoyed every day taking it all in while grilling, hiking and fishing. At times we sit by the fire and reminisce of when the kids were growing up and how great it would have been to come to a place like this on vacation. It's AWESOME to know places like this exists just like a little peace of heaven.
