Beautiful Mountain Home! Breath-taking views! So much hard work, attention to detail and love are in this house to make us happy and comfortable. Spent hours playing with the cat in the fresh air on the porch. Payson and all its activities now feel like home to us. Hope to see you next year! Thank you Ruby and Mark for your warm hospitality.
We loved our stay here in Payson. The home is on the edge of town so everything is convenient when you need to shop. And there are several major stores to shop at as well as neat antique and gift shops. We felt almost like we were in the country because of the location on hillside and the fantastic view from the sun porch. We hike almost every day and there are SO MANY beautiful places to hike within a reasonable distant. We were here over 6 weeks and were always finding new and fascinating trails. The house is well supplied with everything you need and the spice cabinet has more spices than I have at home. The kitchen is spacious, easy to use if you feel like cooking. And we loved not having to go to a laundromat. This is definitely a place we want to come back to again.
What bliss to drive up from the city to the abundant green of the Payson area, and watch the outside car thermometer drop by at least 20 degrees.
Mark and Ruby's house sits on a hill overlooking Payson town, with views of the rim to the north. It was quiet, with only preserve behind us and a few neighborhood houses on the quiet lane.
The upper part of the house, which was ours for the few days, is just superb. It is spacious, very well decorated and furnished. 2 lovely bedrooms and bathrooms.
Also a great kitchen, with everything you can imagine in it. In fact the whole apartment is clean, cosy, and far better than getting a hotel. We enjoyed eating and drinking out on the small deck, getting cool mountain air.
For anyone wanting to be close to Payson, but not deep in the middle of a forrest, but still be close enough to the areas of beauty and walking/fishing etc Iw ould thoroughly endorse this rental.
Ruby and Mark were very easy to deal with as well, and we enjoyed meeting them.
