The house boasts two bedrooms (queen beds) and a full bath on the main level, and a full master suite (king bed) with jetted tub upstairs. An open floor-plan in the living room and kitchen makes it a great space to entertain or just enjoy relaxing. Parking pad off the alley on the east side of the house along with plenty of parking on the street. Walk through scenic South Park to Downtown Lawrence for a night out, or head up the hill to campus (or maybe a detour to the Wheel for a Wang burger...).

About Clint and Beth
Flashback to 2002: Clint, a bartender at the former Crossing (may it rest in peace), offers a free beer to a young college coed (Beth).... and the rest, as they say, is history. Flash forward to November '13 when these two crazy kids decide to fuel their love of all things KU/Lawrence by purchasing and renovating a turn of the century house in historic East Lawrence.
Clint and Beth purchased this House in 2013
Why Clint and Beth chose East Lawrence
The listing agent said people were calling it a tear down, but we saw a diamond in the rough. Situated just steps from South Park, the brick-lined street with old limestone curbs embodies some of the many great things about Lawrence. A few floor-plan readjustments and a whole lot of work, and this house is here to please for the next hundred years!
What makes this House unique
Great location, fully remodeled, historic old-house that embodies Lawrence charm.

Enjoyed our stay
Very convenient to KU!
Mom's weekend in Lawrence
Lovely home in a great neighborhood. We had a very fun weekend visiting the KU kids.
Perfect property for our needs. Walking distance to family and downtown.
Nice, clean house. Hosts were amazing and provided basic pantry items. If you are traveling with elderly family members, downstairs bedrooms have a step down into each room so be careful. Downstairs bath has easy access to shower. Upstairs master is impressive. Overall, a good experience.
Nice location, close to downtown Lawrence. Clean home. Wonderful hosts.
Clean property. Kitchen could use updates. Nice showers and linens. Liked being within walking distance of Massachusetts street.
Comfortable remodeled house in nice neighborhood.
Remodeled totally on the inside, nice quiet neighborhood but walking distance to town and campus. Four of us stayed here and we were very comfortable. The two baths were nice. Upstairs bath very fancy and good for a soak after a long walk. Porch was pleasant to sit and swing on. Kitchen was excellent and instruction were helpful. I messed up because the instruction code came as we were traveling so I missed them though they were on my phone. Got some help. So watch for that email. The place is set up to go smoothly. Martha
We really enjoyed visiting the Natural History Museum on campus. We are a former students and residents of Lawrence but we also had my brother and sister in law come down from Lincoln NE. It was very green, fall had not really arrived by Oct. 11th.
Great House and Close to KU!
We had a wonderful stay at this home! We were in town for the Junior Olympics and we needed a home for our four kids that was close to campus and the track. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and close to campus and Massachusetts street -- great for shopping! Beth was a great host and available to answer my questions. We had a great time!
