Frigiliana is a small town situated in the foothills of the Almijara Sierra mountain range overlooking the Mediterranean coast. It is located approximately 50 kilometres from Malaga (45-50 minutes drive from Malaga airport) and a short ride away from Nerja and the beach. The stunning whitewashed town has in the past been voted the most beautiful in all of Spain and is regularly acclaimed as the prettiest in Andalucia. With many bars, restaurants and shops, Frigiliana provides the ideal setting for a wonderful holiday on the Costa del Sol.

Sea/Beaches: The nearest beaches are those of Nerja and Maro - approximately 8 kilometres away.

Mountains: The property is ideally situated on the edge of Frigiliana old town. There are stunning views across the mountains and down to the sea. A walkers paradise.

Historic: The property is set on the edge of Frigiliana old town. With its cobble-stoned streets, incredible views, friendly people and the odd donkey, the town is full of culture and history.

Beautiful, spotlessly clean aprtment with stunning views. If you thought the pictures of the apartment looked good, the reality is even better! My boyfriend and I spent a long time deliberating whether to stay in Nerja or Frigiliana but after such an enjoyable stay at Damian’s apartment we are planning our next trip back to Frigiliana; Nerja’s much less touristy and much more authentic neighbour. The apartment is extremely clean, has all the utensils and appliances that you would want (and more – films, packs of cards etc). My boyfriend and I ate at a lot of the restaurants with “the best views of Frigiliana”, but we both unanimously agreed that the best views were actually those by the poolside at Damian’s apartment. Honestly stunning and very romantic. The location was ideal too, only 10 mins or so walk from the bus stop to Nerja, and less than 5 mins from some fantastic restaurants – try Oshun (food) and La Taberna Sacristán (service and great steak). Despite its location it was so peaceful and relaxing. Couldn’t recommend the apartment more.

Fantastic Family Holiday in Frigliana

We had a wonderful week in this lovely apartment, with our two young sons. The apartment was very clean, and had everything we needed - the kitchen was especially very well stocked with cooking utensils, as well as things like teabags and herbs and spices, and cooking oils which was great. It also had books and magazines, and a few DVDs as well as UK TV , which was useful for our sons (addicted to CBeebies). We had a lovely stay, and especially loved the pool, which had beautiful views over the hills. We probably spent about 80% of our time at the pool, which is small, but ideal for the boys who both learned to swim in the week, one with armbands, the other without. Damian had provided us with lots of useful information about places to visit, and we visited the Nerja caves, which were truly remarkable, and a great place to visit (although not with a buggy, and would recommend more for children over 4/5, as there are a lot of steps, which sometimes were a bit slippy). Frigiliana is a beautiful little town, and I'm sure we will visit again some day. I'd highly recommend this apartment, and the great customer service provided by Damian.

Lovely village

Lovely hillside village with fantastic views,

well located apartment with many nearby cafes, and resturaunts,

nearby Nerja with great beaches and many shops,

large shopping mall about 10 kilometres away.

Little bit of paradise

This listing is exactly what it says perfect in location, its quiet, bright, and very well equipped. Expertly clean and well maintained.Every question we asked was quickly answered .I would recommend this apartment to all as even the price was extremely reasonable too. We enjoyed walking all over from here and sampled every restaurant everyone was so friendly the view is just breath taking from the roof top .Thanks for having us we shall book again next time.

La Fuente Vieja a property with character well situated to enjoy all of the village facilities

After a week long stay in La Fuente vieja totally chilled. The property was in a small complex with everything we needed(very well equipped), the pool was great to cool off, with spectacular views from the pool terrace. The apartment was very well situated at the end of the old town of Frigiliana but within minutes(walking) of numerous and varied restaurants, shops and bars. We ate extremely well for our entire weeks stay. Frigilana is an absolute gem, full of charm and character(but some of the streets were very steep if you chose to visit the upper levels) yet only a short bus ride away to the much busier beach resort of Nerja. We did not hire a car for our stay but this did not prove a problem as between the owner Damian's local knowledge, information provided and a reasonable bus service we were able to visit a number of other resorts nearby, our favourite being the port area at Marina Del Este. For a longer stay a car would be a bonus to explore the area further. We would like to thank Damian and Amelia for all their help and we will definitely be returning. Their communications are second to none. Stunning Holiday!!!
