About Keith Clark
I am a Global Yacht Delivery Captain but born and raised in the Keuka Lake area. I have lived in many parts of the USA and traveled extensively throughout the world. I have seen many wondrous places in my travels, but the one true place I love more than any other, and the one place I will always call home, is "No Such Place" on gorgeous Keuka Lake.
Keith Clark purchased this House in 1981
Why Keith Clark chose Hammondsport
Keuka Lake is magical all year long but particularly so in the summer! Hammondsport on Keuka Lake is the source of the USA's first registered winery and now has nearly 20 fantastic and romantic wineries all around the lake. Harvest time is uniquely festive and fun for all and this happens spontaneously within the beauty of the incredible surrounding hills and fall foliage, a treat for the spirit and soul each and every year!
What makes this House unique
Location, Location, Location is the key to real estate, as they say, and 'No Such Place' fit's that phrase perfectly since it is ideally situation on the lake with strategic access by road and water to all of the key surrounding towns. The 3-branch and bluff views from the property in summer, spring, winter or fall are mesmerizing and soothing for one's spirit, and simply amazing for one's eyes to behold. Needless to say, a great place to bring your camera...!

Lovely view. Very disappointing house.
The lake view of this property is beautiful. The porch overlooking the lake was great for morning coffee or evening wine. Fish were caught off the dock. However, the interior of the house was very disappointing. It appeared most maintenance stopped several decades ago.
The floors were uneven with dangerous small steps in numerous places. The upstairs bedrooms were the width of the double bed and door only, very small. Worse, the upstairs half bathroom was so small and low that I could not stand up straight (5’8”) in any of it.
Wall outlets were upside down, and the water controls in one shower were reversed. The rail on the porch was broken and would be extremely dangerous with children. Perhaps most annoying was the fact that the owner told us not to drink the water as it needed frequent testing, which he did not do.
Major work is needed before I would recommend this rental to any group. Our entire party was very disappointed in the property.
Cozy, but needs updating.
Beautiful views with excellent dock
This is a nice cozy place with beautiful view of Keuka lake . View from bedroom and dock are amazing . Owner is very quick and responsive to our messages and calls. We enjoyed our stay.
Excellent location and view
We had a great time and especially enjoyed sitting on the gorgeous dock. The owner is quick to respond which was a great help. Great experience.
Rest and relaxation on Keuka Lake
We had a great time. My grandson caught his first fish, fishing with his Aunt and Uncle on the dock. I loved sitting on the dock just talking and laughing.
excellent weekend getaway
Eight adults and three dogs stayed here for the weekend and it was absolutely lovely. The house has that old lake cottage feel with amazing views. The dock was spectacular and we enjoyed fishing off it and the dogs loved swimming. While the grill and oven/stove were definitely older, everything worked and we found it all quite charming. We would definitely stay here again. With two fridges and two showers, there was plenty of room for everything and everyone. Excellent location.
