About Pam MacKenzie
I have been living in Key West since 1992 having moved here from Nova Scotia, Canada. I have been doing vacation rentals since 2004 and my three properties keep me plenty busy. My properties are strictly rentals and they are not a second home. All three of my properties are licensed as transient rentals with both with the City of Key West and with the State of Florida.
Pam MacKenzie purchased this Studio in 2004
Why Pam MacKenzie chose Old Town
This property was once a small hotel that was converted to condos, not something that would work in many small cities but here it is a gem. I love the location of this property and it offers what I would want in an accommodation; a big bed, a small kitchen and affordability. Many condos in Key West are restricted by their Association to renting for not less a week and this means owners must also stick to a rigid schedule of Saturday to Saturday to maximize bookings but this property does not have that restriction and offers the flexibility that guests love.
What makes this Studio unique
The location of this Sudio is the best benefit, leave the car behind and explore Old Town like a local.

Great place to stay
Everything was excellent. Condo is stocked with everything you could possibly need and then some. Fantastic location. Walk to Duval Street and all it has to offer. Definitely will be back. Thanks Pam!
Long weekend in KW
We had a great stay at the Simonton Studio! It’s the perfect location for getting around island by foot or bike and was very clean. I would definitely recommend staying here!
Great time, great spot!
Quaint little bungalow. Perfect for a couple. Excellent location and everything was equipped as promised!
Key West fun!
Great location! Easy access to everything - the scooter rental across the street was perfect too. Property is exactly as described. Would recommend!
Great location and value!
My husband and I had a great time during our 6 night stay here. The location was perfect... just a short walk to Duval. We really appreciated all of Pam’s recommendations. The bikes made it so easy to explore or head to the beach for the day. Would definitely recommend and hope to return!
Short week stay
Had a wonderful visit to Key West during Hemingway Days in July. This studio unit is very well appointed with lovely king bed, nice bathroom and has fully equipped kitchen.
The location is great for walking or biking everywhere, plus is on same street as free bus loop around town. Also went to several amazing restaurants in the immediate area for dinner.
Local attractions include sailing trips to the reef for snorkelling, fishing excursions, kayak excursions, Ghost Tours, Conch Train Tours and much much more. Key West is a town filled with Victorian architecture; it has a history filled with pirates, salvaging and the wealth that those trades once brought. It has been a refuge for writers, Presidents, parrotheads(Jimmy Buffet fans), artists and tourists looking to find a different Florida experience. Key West is funky, eccentric, expressive, tolerant and fun loving.
