Minutes From Bar Harbor & Acadia National Park / Pet Friendly

Our family had a great time. Quiet location away from the hustle and bustle, yet easy to walk to town. Great house, lots of room, comfy beds, everything you need in the kitchen. The stove, however, needs repairs. One burner only did high ( the large one that you actually want to use) and other burners were slanted so cooking was a challenge. Would recommend this property! Dale, the maintenance guy was very easy to access if you need him, thanks Dale!

We found the house to be reasonably clean, the kitchen was well appointed and spacious... bedding was comfortable and towels plentiful. However, I would not recommend this house to anyone who has mobility issues, because the stairway to the upstairs bedrooms was very steep and narrow. One of my guests had to sleep on the recliner downstairs as she could not manage the stairs.(I would recommend to the renter to have a sleep sofa or love seat in the living room as an option if future guests encounter. an issue.) I liked the quiet residential area and the location near a road (Cromwell Harbor Rd) that gave you options to avoid the more congested areas of Bar Harbor. The fenced in back yard is not truly a lawn area, it is gravel, likely because of the heavy foliage of the trees. It would have been ideal if the gate of the fence to access the yard was on the right hand side before the steps, then I could have let my dog in and out without going up and down the stairs each time. Otherwise we found the house comfortable and convenient.

Location was great House was so so for the money. Loudest stairs ever. Wake everyone in the house.
