A different vacation every day! Into Belize jungles, caves, mountains, horseback riding, cave tubing, waterfalls, etc! Next day on islands, deep sea fishing, snorkeling, and more! Then a relaxing day in the village. Too perfect.
It was great dealing with Laura right from the beginning! She was very responsive and helpful. Our family stayed at their condo in Placencia, Belize. We didn't know this at the time but were happy when we realized that they were really some of the nicest condos in the area and close to lot's of great eats! Laura has decorated the condo with the very best tropical decor, it really gave it a resort feeling! We are a family of 6 - 4 teenagers- so basically 6 adults and we fit comfortably in the condo, the patio off the front was very spacious and we spent alot of time there. It was wonderful to have a washer and dryer too! We rented a golf cart for the week which worked out perfectly- it allowed us to get around locally but also to venture back up to some of the bigger resorts. We spent time every day ( and often at night) out at the dock-it was the most relaxing space ever...seriously relaxing! Under a thatched roof palapa, sitting out over the ocean, nice breeze, comfortable lounge chairs and a drink! It was Heaven, I could have stayed there day in and out:) But with 4 teenagers - that was hardly the case! We found that from Placentia it was pretty easy to get to places that we wanted to visit-like the Howler Monkey Tour, The Chocolate/Spice Tour, Scuba Diving, Snorkeling, Fly Fishing....never a dull moment! We had a wonderful vacation and staying with Laura really was a treat!
This is by far the best vacation destination! From the beautiful accommodations, spectacular views and over the top friendly locals. I have traveled around the world and never had a better experience than Sunset Pointe Caribe House #5. It's apparent the owners take pride in their home here. From the decor to the beds, the most comfortable mattresses I've ever slept on! There was not a thing they didn't think of. Every room is fully furnished, the kitchen has beautiful dishes and glasses enough silverware, pots, pans and anything else you would need to cook with. They supply everything you could need from snorkeling equipment, bicycles, board games and books! There are several locations to take in views from the rooftop deck to the beautiful decks on either side of the pointe all furnished with lounge chains or crab chairs. They have thought of it all and you can't go wrong staying here!!
This was one of the most beautiful and relaxing places my family has ever had the pleasure to visit. The accommodations were perfect. The views, the pool, the people, the food on a scale of 1-10 were an 11!!! We visited many of the local places to eat and never had a bad meal. The Belizeans were some of the most friendly people we have ever met. We hope to return and highly recommend Caribbean Sunset Pointe Caribe House #5 !!!
This condo has 2 bdrms and 2 baths which is great if you have a large group. My husband and I traveled with my three daughters and mother in law and this worked out well for us. The outside seating area was used daily , however we noticed small bugs or gnats and this did impose a small problem for outside relaxation. The location was in Placencia village but we still rented a golf cart to get around to the different restaurants and shops. We used the pool which was very nice and the bikes provided by Laura were used daily by my daughters! The oven was not working at the time and things didn't seem quite clean in the kitchen area so we reported this to the caretaker. We loved our snorkel tour with Alfred and would recommend him ...we have been on many snorkel tours here and elsewhere but this was the best! We also rented the caretakers car one day to travel outside the village which was very convenient. The condo itself has very pleasant decor and is a place we would recommend. We have traveled to Placencia multiple times over the past 4 years and have stayed in many places. This was nice and my daughters loved being in town which allowed them to go shopping and get ice cream on their own. Thank you Laura for sharing your place with us. We are looking at properties to buy and may someday run into you! Tami
Our trip to Placencia couldn't have been better- from the gorgeous home where we stayed, to the truly sweet local people that we met. The house has all the amenities of home and is full of character! Francisco and Alfred were so helpful in showing us around and helping us learn about the local people...Laura made sure our stay went without a hitch! Amazing place to snorkel, visit Mayan ruins, banana plantations and just relax! Can't wait to return someday!
Spectacular, beautiful, perfect describe both the location and the Caribe House condo. The property faces the beautiful green ocean with the lagoon on the other side. It has porches on both sides to sit and enjoy the views. The interior of the condo is immaculate and tastefully decorated. There is an onsite manager, Francisco, who is always available, helpful, and discrete. There is also a dock that sits in the ocean where one can enjoy the water and the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Added to this is the panorama from the crows nest atop the roof.
The location of this condo could not have been better. It is away from the main tourist and market area but is in the village and easily accessible. One can walk or ride the bikes provided with the rental to the main street, the public beach or the village dock.
The property, the location and the people of Placencia made this our best vacation ever.
the property was clean and decorated nicely. We went deep sea fishing and zip lining. We rode the bikes everywhere even at night, it was very safe. We ate at Rumfish,Barefoot Bar, Tipsy Tuna, and Paradise Cove, all excellent especially the Thanksgiving dinner of lobster and Paradise Cove.
The beaches are beautiful and clean and I would highly recommend this property to anyone.
