Charles and I really enjoyed our stay at your lovely house above Inchydoney Beach. Everything about the house was perfect and it was a pleasure to get up in the morning to see such amazing views. The rooms are spacious and the house has a very 'lived in' quality to it. This is not a stark, impersonal property, as quite a few holiday lets are; it is a very welcoming house and has everything a family would need. Quite simply, it is the best house we have ever stayed in and we've been travelling to the area for over 20 years. Thank you for your hospitality. It was lovely meeting you and your grandson and we really hope we can stay there again. Best wishes.
You will not be disappointed with this Bungalow as it is a spotlessly clean, well equipped and has the most amazing views !! Location is wonderful with fabulous views over Inchydoney Beach and Clonakility Bay. Do not hesitate one second if you are considering booking this bungalow, its just a slice of heaven and a gem of accommodation in a gem of place.
Short drive into Clonakilty town where you will find Supermarkets, Lindl, Super Value. Please do visit Donovans Hotel on a Tuesday evening as they a traditional music night. Debarras Folk Club is also a must. Visit Shanleys Pub on a Thurs evening for another night of Music. Restaurants - Plenty to choose from.
Tony Kirby (the owner) was so welcoming, friendly and efficient. Nothing was too much bother. Thank you again Tony we really did enjoy your beautiful bunglaow and had a relaxing holiday we will in touch soon to book again.
A million thanks !
Searching for a relaxing weeks holiday I came across Sunville. From first point of contact with Tony to the accommodation and the amazing location everything was perfect. All that the reviews have said is very true.. The view from the house is just wonderful. The accommodation was perfect and had loads of room with amazing views from the rooms. We went to Inchydoney to relax and enjoy walking on the lovely local beach. Relaxing on the terrace of the house looking at the sea was perfect. I would highly recommend this house. Tony was so nice to deal with and very helpful in answering all my questions. The local people are so friendly and Clonakilty has a great atmosphere. We will be back to stay at Sunville now that we have found it. Thank you Tony for the chance to stay in the perfect house in the perfect location.
This a spacious, clean and well equipped property which comfortably met the needs of our group of four adults and two young children. The views from the living room really are spectacular and the location is very peaceful whilst still being walking distance from the beach and a short drive to the town of Clonakilty. I'd recommend it highly and would certainly book again.
t was our first experience with renting internationally and although the house looked perfect on line, we were not quite sure what we would find.Sitting high on a hill overlooking Inchydoney Bay and the Celtic Sea beyond was this wonderful home with the most amazing views in every direction. The house was clean, comfortable, and within walking distance( a hilly walking distance but manageable) of the nearby beach and the Inchydoney Inn, where we were attending a wedding.Tony could not have been more helpful answering all our questions by email, text and phone prior to our arrival and even after our arrival. Thank you, Tony, for making our first visit to your beautiful country so memorable.

Myself my wife and two children (aged 3 and 5) rented this house in May 2013 for two weeks. We had a great holiday. On Arrival we were greeted with a bottle of wine to welcome us, which was a nice touch. The house was very clean, spacious and was well equipped with everything that you need from children cots, BBQ, TV with satellite station, all utensils etc.
The best thing about this house is its views, it is situated above inchydonny lodge hotel with sea views to the front and farmland to the rear. The views are magnificent, as an avid surfer it is a real treat to be able to just look out the window to see what the condition where like. In the evenings you can sit out front and BBQ, enjoying your meal a glass of wine taking in the views.
The house is a minutes’ walk from the beach and hotel. The two children loved playing in all the rock pools, building sand castle and flying kites. There is a surf school at the beach for older children.
Clonakilty is a 5 minute drive; here you can do all your grocery shopping, meals out, coffee, cinema, swimming, play gym. There are lots of different small towns and villages to explore around the area so there is always something to do. For day trips we went to Cork city to the English market, Sherkin Island and Fota Wildlife Park. All about 45 minutes away.
Over all we had a great stay and would highly recommend this house and location.
Many local attractions in the area some of which include golfing, fishing, horse riding, surfing and walking in the nearby sand dunes.
