We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Arrived on June 12, 2017 and stayed for 4 nights. Debbie and Dennis made us feel right at home. It is a clean charming cottage. Will most definitely stay again!!

Our stay was delightful. The cottage is charming and well equipped. The owners live next door and were so informative about the area and wildlife, helpful, and kind. We couldn't have asked for better!

Cute place for a short stay...

  • 4 of 5

This place is perfect for people looking for a mini trip. The landscape was lush and green, the inside was well kept, and the bed was very comfortable. The boats were in a convenient location, the fenced in yard was awesome for the dogs, and the water made for a great view out the back window. Debra and Dennis were kind people and made sure to give us tips on local hot spots. They greeted us upon arrival and were very helpful throughout our stay.

My complaints...

We normally prefer to stay at the cottage our whole trip, but with no full size stove and refrigerator it made it hard to cook meals in. The mosquitoes and deer flies were also REALLY bad. We went out and bought tiki torch fluid, candles, and spray, but still left with bites all over. I'd like to say we loved our stay, but we definitely didn't get to enjoy the outdoors as much as we would've liked due to the bugs.

Peaceful and Relaxing

  • 5 of 5

Thank you Dennis and Debra for a wonderful stay! The cottage is nicely decorated and clean. We enjoyed the wildlife that came to visit us daily in the yard. We also enjoyed our daily peaceful canoe rides from the on property dock and seeing the manatee swim by. The cottage is located in a convenient location. Close to grocery stores, Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park, several springs to snorkel, kayak and swim, hiking and the great fish market at The Crab Plant. We loved it!
