You know Ajijic has some of the best year round weather in the
world, but experiencing the 400 year old cobblestone streets of this
charming Village first hand is even better! It's about location,
location, location. More than climate and charm, this quaint Mexican
Village has the services and amenities that you would expect in a
modern luxury resort.

We stayed for a month in this great home. The location and neighborhood are perfect. One block from the lake and few blocks from the Wednesday market. Supermarket is 4 blocks away and Walmart is within walking distance. The house is very clean and well equipped. Everything worked well, fast WiFi, great filtered tap water, good water pressure, washer and dryer. The landlady was just wonderful. Very easy to get ahold of if any thing comes up. Sent us E-mails of things we might like to do. We are recently retired active couple from Mn looking for somewhere to spend the winters. Ajijic has so much to offer. We hiked with the hiking group, took cooking classes, ate at great restaurants, walked on the Lake Walk (Malecon), and watched pageants in the village square. The locals are very friendly and many speak english, but as in most places it is aprecitated if you try to speak some Spanish. The expats are very helpful and welcoming. We will definitely be going back to Ajijic. Oh and the weather is perfect!
This was my second stay. Do you come back to a place you don't like? I love it here! This casita is conveniently located, so you can be in the center with a 10 minute walk but sleep in a quieter area. You will hear dogs but HEY, this is Mexico! Ajijic has some of the best restaurants anywhere and they are, mostly, within a shirt walk from this rental. With the exception of food, this casita is 100% ready: unpack, shop and you'll feel like you're home! It is also very secure and in a safe neighborhood. If by chance anything needs attention you can be assured that it will be handled ASAP. Looking for quiet, relaxing, and yet close to all amenities with a great person to rent from? This might be your place!
As first time visitors to Ajijic we were extremely happy to have rented from Georgette and Hardwick! The rental was all we could have asked for; everything we needed less food. It's within walking distance to almost anywhere in the village but bring sturdy shoes as the streets are cobblestone! It's less than a block to the Wednesday open air market where you can reasonably purchase almost all the food you'll need. Many great restaurants within five or six blocks. Only two blocks to the water. Georgette is a very gracious and helpful hostess who went beyond expectations to make us feel comfortable and at home. If you need something larger she probably can help you so don't be afraid to call. Thank you Georgette for a wonderful vacation!
This cute casita is only minutes away from any point in the village, close to amenities and steps away from beautiful LaFloresta. The open concept first floor is well furnished and maintained. The second floor bedroom, sitting room and ensuite bathroom is bright and opens unto a large patio. The compact kitchen is well equipped. There is a TV on each floor. Both bathrooms are spacious and there's lots of hot water. Georgette is a wonderful host.
this is a very cute casita, well decorated and maintained. Georgette is an excellent Landlady and was very attentive and accommodating to my needs. It is very close to everything and had no problems walking to anywhere I wanted to go. I highly recommend this little house!
