About Natalia & Silvia

After living in four continents we decided to open a boutique hotel and we returned to Asia to look for the ideal piece of land. Finally, we realized that we were in love with Miami and that we could build our dream here. We met while we both while were working in tourism. I have a Master in Tourism Administration and my husband a Ph.D. and and MBA and we enjoy meeting smart, sophisticated people. For us this activity is not just a job. We love what we do and we try to do it better every day. Every time a guest leaves, we ask how we could improve their experience and often we follow the recommendations.

Natalia & Silvia purchased this apartment in 2015

Why Natalia & Silvia chose Coconut Grove

Miami’s weather is pleasant all year round, which allows people like us to enjoy the city’s incredible range of activities. From outdoor sports, to a vibrant art and design community, to performing arts and events of all kinds, Miami has never been more busy and sophisticated. Coconut Grove has a very special flavor, with lower buildings and a trendy atmosphere and within it, this is a unique building facing the ocean, the marina, the islands and next to Peacock Park.

What makes this apartment unique

Hotel amenities, assigned free covered parking, high-speed Internet. Unique place, the house of many famous refined souls with privacy in the middle of everything you may desire. “The Grove” is a trendy, artistic neighborhood on the coast of Biscayne Bay adjacent to Coral Gables located at minutes from downtown Miami’s Business District, the Port of Miami, South Beach, Coral Gables, the University of Miami and the beaches of Key Biscayne.

Reasons to visit Miami? Enjoying the open spaces, gastronomy, arts, outdoor sports, boating and water sports, galleries, exhibitions, shopping...etc. Others come for real estate investing, to visit the large network of hospitals, the many local universities, to do businesses with the growing number of corporations, banks and investment firms...etc. Below, some spare time ideas you can expand in Bing or Google:

For SUPERMARKET: Fresh Food Foods is nearby. Also Milan’s. Both upscale.

For RESTAURANTS, see our Guest Book, which you will receive in digital after booking (on paper upon arrival). Many options in the Grove, including CocoWalk.

For fancy indoor SHOPPING: drive to the new Brickell City Centre for prime retail and fine dining (for complete list, visit website).

For OUTDOOR shopping, eating and tourist shops, the Bayside Marketplace, by the water.

For PERFORMING ARTS: check the Arsht Center upcoming events. For other events, the American Airlines Arena.

For RUNNING OR WALKING: see our Guest Book. You are in front of the water and the choice is yours. Search Coconut Grove Walking Tour and you will get some ideas.

For MUSEUMS: the new PAMM, Modern Art, and its environment is worthwhile. Very soon the Frost Museum of Science will open doors (1S 2017). Unmissable. Also, the Vizcaya Museum

For ART, explore Coconut Grove. It has a good reputation. Also, go to Wynwood. Take pictures of the over 200 urban graffiti (perhaps take an Art Walk Tour before). Continue to the Design District for high-end shopping and galleries.

For BEACHES: South Beach (more urban) or Crandon Park in Key Biscayne (more isolated). That key is a tranquil one and so close to town. The drive is gorgeous. Go to the end of the island, to No Name Harbor to see the yachts.

For ART DECO, go to Ocean Drive, at Miami Beach. You will have seen it in so many movies! Once there, go to Lincoln Road, a pedestrian street with tourist shops and non-expensive restaurants.

For a LONG DRIVE, go to Key West. We recommend that you spend one night there to avoid a very long drive. Avoid Fridays in your way down or Sundays to come back.

To finalize, a paragraph from Wikipedia:

“Downtown Miami is home to the largest concentration of international banks in the United States, and many large national and international companies. The Civic Center is a major center for hospitals, research institutes, medical centers, and biotechnology industries. For more than two decades, the Port of Miami, known as the "Cruise Capital of the World", has been the number one cruise passenger port in the world. It accommodates some of the world's largest cruise ships and operations, and is the busiest port in both passenger traffic and cruise lines.”

This was a fabulous vacation spot!

  • 5 of 5

This apartment in the Sonesta Coconut Grove was an outstanding choice for our family. The building is well cared for and has nice amenities, and the apartment is just beautiful. It is spacious and attractively decorated. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is fully stocked, the towels and linens are of good quality, the televisions and wifi are terrific, and the view... oh my...the view is unbelievable. We were met by Nicole who showed us the features of the apartment, and left us with enough coffee and filters for the morning, a few dishwasher tablets and laundry detergent to wash a few loads, as well as a bottle of wine. So thoughtful! We had a problem with the refrigerator that was immediately taken care of. We appreciated having a lovely spot to relax in as well as make some great family memories. Thank you!

A wonderful stay in the heart of Miami

  • 5 of 5

I spent 17 nights in the apartment 1002 at the Sonesta in Coconut Grove!

The apartment is VERY GOOD, there is a a kitchen with all equipments, one suite with a king bed, another suite with two queen beds, and a living room with a wonderful wiew and more one bathroom.

The neighborhood is fantastic, with a park in front of the apartment, that there is a restaurant called Glass & Wine, that you can stay there in while your kids are playing around.

There is a street called Comodore Plaza with very nice restaurant, very close to the apartment.

You can rent bikes, go to good restaurants, cinema at Coco Walk, parks, all that in few steps.

Natalia is a wonderful guest, and everything went great.

We had great times, and a I suggest this apartment for every one that loves to live like we do !

The perfect home away from home!

  • 5 of 5

Natalia and Fer have done a great job with this Sonesta room. The views can't be beat and they've made it bright and cheery and very comfortable with great bedding and a well stocked kitchen. They are organized and very responsive. We've stayed twice and plan to do so again and again!
