Keokuk is a beautiful town on the Mississippi river. Many come to this area for local Eagle Viewing in the winter along with incredible Geode hunting in the spring, summer, and fall. If you are a hunter, deer and turkey are plentiful right here on this property and you are only 30 minutes away from Historic Nauvoo Illinois, home to Joseph Smith. Boating on the great Mississippi river is a wonderful summer pastime and walking the 35 acres of this property is a relaxing getaway.
This is an incredible home set up for families and hunters alike and is a hidden gem only 2 miles from town. It allows for large family gatherings and has hosted up to 200 people at a time. A beautiful back patio allows for outdoor entertaining and the 40 foot ceiling along with the custom designed stone fireplace in the great room makes this house a prime place for parties, weddings, and entertainment. It has 7 bedrooms and 5.5 baths. A weight/aerobic room allows for exercising. Also included is a treadmill and elliptical for your cardio enjoyment. The basement has a 50" tv for viewing while playing pool or ping pong. For the younger ones, a tree house and basketball arcade are great options. Two Great rooms (one on the main floor and one on the second floor) allow for relaxing and entertaining equally. The possibilities with this home are unlimited. Although there are only beds to sleep 14 at this time, if blow up mattresses and couches are counted, it easily accommodates another 12. The house is approximately 8,000 square feet and would love to accommodate your next venture in the great midwest.
