New log home nestled in the Chequamegon National Forest where Byhre Lake is within a short walking distance. Perfect for those looking for privacy among Wisconsin's beautiful Northwoods. Main floor bedroom has queen size bed and upper bedroom has full size bed. A loft has full size futon and great view of the forest. There is also a full size futon in the sunroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances including microwave, dishwasher, toaster, and coffee maker. Washer and dryer in laundrey room. Two full baths with hot tub/shower.
Spent a wonderful 4 nights at the cabin. Amazing place and very well appointed! Did not want to leave! We could not have asked for anything else to be furnished. Loved the Northwoods theme and enjoyed a nice fire in the evening. Fairly close to snowmobile trails which were nice and smooth for the most part. Would definitely come back again to this gem! Wondering if all the mounts were the owners???
Wounderful cabin with all available amenities! Perfectly located for snowmobiling. Comfortable enough for 8 couples. Will hopefully be back!
The Bowling's home was perfect for a snowmobiling trip for my friend and me. The 2 bedrooms - one on the main floor and one on the 2nd floor - allowed us some privacy at night. The living quarters were very comfortable and well appointed. We will very likely stay here again.
Our only negative comment is that the charcoal grill is badly in need of a cleaning - and the fireplace was quite dirty as well. Once we spent 30 minutes cleaning the firebox and the glass - it was very enjoyable to have a fire burning in the evening.
This cabin was perfect and in a great location close to trails. Had all the amenities we needed. We will definitely be back again.
The cabin was well reflected in the pictures and was a lovely and cozy get away. I would recommend it for a couple or a family as there is plenty of space. The owner was responsive to questions via email.
There are a plethora of great walks and other outdoor activities within a short drive from the cabin. If the weather is bad or if you are more interested in staying indoors, bring games and/or DVDs. The cabin has a TV and DVD player as well as a few games, but there are no movies and the games are limited. That said, who wants to be inside when you're surrounded by such amazing wilderness?
The kitchen is well-stocked with plenty of pots and pans, spices and even a smoothie maker. I would bring butter and olive oil if I were doing a lot of cooking. There is a drip coffee maker but there is not a teapot, though a pot works just as well.
I would stay there again next time I'm in the area. I would even make it a destination!
We went for a weekend of trail riding and the cabin was perfectly located and had everything we needed and more!! We look forward to renting there again! Patti was great to work with, very responsive to my numerous questions. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer!
ATV and snowmobile trails just down the road. Surrounded by great fishing lakes for "Class A"
musky, northern, pan fish, bass and walleye. Also a trout stream nearby. There is recreation for
every season, from kayaking to biking and hiking, to golf, hunting and fishing, swimming and skiing;
it's all right here. Keep your eyes open for loons on the lake, eagles soaring, and many
other "natural" guests of the forest.
