Weston Noyes purchased this Apartment in 2004
Why Weston Noyes chose Capitol Hill
We purchased this home as our primary residence in 2004 and spent many years of personal effort renovating it with our own hands. From living here, we know what a treasure the Marmalade neighborhood is and we are very happy to be able to offer our guests this relaxing and beautiful space, in our charming neighborhood, with incredible access to all of downtown Salt Lake City.
What makes this Apartment unique
We have renovated all three units at 319 Almond Street ourselves. No surface, inside or out, was left unimproved, and hopefully the results of this deep remodel speak for themselves. You'll be able to enjoy your evenings relaxing on the deck or cooking dinner with your family or friends in open plan kitchen/dining/living room. Inside you'll find plenty of room for up to four people to sleep comfortably, while accommodating up to six people at the dinner table. With such close proximity to downtown Salt Lake City, no location is better suited for conveniently exploring all that this great city has to offer. From this safe and quiet street in the charming Marmalade Hill neighborhood, all the greatest neighborhoods, restaurants, activities and attractions along the Wasatch Front are within your reach.

STAY IN SLC
Parking was a challenge but once I figured out it was very easy. Apartment was appointed with quality appliances, etc. The couch was a little soft to sit on but incredible when pulled out to sleep on.
We had trouble with the radiant floor heat, which was 'stuck' on about 78. The owner got involved and we figured out a work around. He provided us with a modest refund for the trouble.
Thanks for taking the time to review your stay. Sorry for the inconvenience of our heating system breaking down and overheating the apartment. The pump valve was replaced the next day and all is working correctly again!
Great little property within easy walking distance to Convention Center and downtown
Very nice property in a quiet neighborhood. I will definitely stay here again on any trip to SLC.
Lovely apartment with a great kitchen. Perfect location to walk downtown
We’ll definitely be back. Great location near fine dining, planetarium, shopping, groceries and cafés. We loved the kitchen and made a few meals there to enjoy the ambience when it was snowing. Owners were attentive to our questions and very friendly.
A comfy stay in SLC
A very cute apartment in an old SLC house that looks like it's been remodeled. Nice and attractive features and appliances. We requested an early check in and the owner was very accomodating. Nice place and access was very easy.
Well-appointed apartment; great SLC location
The lower flower apartment was well-equipped. The kitchen had all essentials, and unlike some vrbos in which we have stayed, even had salt, pepper, mini-moos, plastic wrap and tin foil. We added a can of vegetable oil non-stick spray to the cupboard. There was one there, but it was coconut oil, and hubby is allergic. Although there was a leak from an upper level unit the day before our arrival, the host called to give us a heads-up and to offer to allow us to make other accommodations. It was too late over the Christmas holidays to change plans in my estimation, but the host did his best to minimize the inconvenience and mitigate any issues. We appreciated his efforts. He stayed in touch and we enjoyed the location to downtown eateries and attractions. Nice linens, good use of space. Clean. Welcoming decor. I would definitely consider this apartment again. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because of issues created by the leak, but for that glitch, it is worthy of 5 stars for a comfortable, clean, fully equipped apartment with parking, and even a fellow who shoveled snow from the driveway and porch.
Thanks for taking the time to review, and sorry again for the troubles created by the plumbing leak, which is now fixed.
Home away from home
Wonderful experience. Had everything we needed and then some. Clear and cooperative communication. We are very happy and grateful for a stress free stay.
Thanks for your great communication and for bearing with us for some of the unexpected repair issues at the house prior to your stay. Glad to know you had a pleasant and stress-free visit!
Our home is located near the heart of Salt Lake City, within easy walking distance of all downtown locations with fast and easy Interstate access to many major destinations along the Wasatch Front. Almond street is a quiet, charming street in the Marmalade Hill neighborhood. Known for its historic homes and hillside sunset views of the Great Salt Lake, the Marmalade neighborhood derives its name from the orchards which eventually gave way to meandering streets still lined with fruit trees, perfect for an evening stroll.
Our house is located just two city blocks north of Temple Square, three blocks west of the Utah State Capitol building, and six blocks from the Salt Lake Convention center. Also, within walking distance are the LDS Conference Center, the LDS geneology library, the City Creek Center Mall, the Utah Jazz Arena, the Ensign Point city overlook and the Memory Grove/City Creek Canyon walking/hiking/biking trails. Dozens of exceptional restaurants, cafe's, bars, entertainment venues, shops, public transportation, parks, all lay just outside your doorstep.
