For a relaxing and fun family vacation experience. It is time to change your latitude, attitude and immerse your body and mind in the calming, soothing waters that surround this Florida Keys paradise. So come enjoy Gulf waterfront sunsets in Islamorada, Florida. (OK. I agree, it's kind of corny but oh so very true.)

We offer you our spacious and very clean 2 bedroom plus loft area / 2 full bathrooms townhouse. It sleeps up to 5 very comfortably. Our townhouse is elegantly-appointed with full new kitchen, two new updated & expanded bathrooms, a complete new office, nice quiet bedrooms for deep "relaxful" sleeping, and numerous amenities to make you feel completely at home.

We do our best so you don't feel like you're in a hotel. Instead you will be in your home away from home.

Beautiful Florida Key’s Townhouse on Mile Marker 87 in Islamorada, located in a 24 hour security private gated community. FREE secure WiFi. Two-story Condo with large 2 bedrooms and loft (1 King, 4 Full Beds, and Foldout Sofa Bed), and 2 newly redesigned full bathrooms. This beautiful townhouse is fully furnished and equipped with all possible amenities. We offer a personal semi-private backyard patio furnished with BBQ and complete outdoor patio furniture. All very nice bedding and towels included.

The Bathrooms:

Since purchasing our home at end of 2011, we have done a series of major upgrades. We recently completed the expansion of the master bathroom. It is now the most spacious bathroom possible in our community, with high open ceiling which shows off the natural wood beams above. The surrounding shower walls and floors are beautifully tiled and enclosed with glass and stained glass window feature. To top it off, we installed a new spa-like rain-like shower with multiple body sprays which gives the very best showering experience possible, even better than many 5-star retreats. My wife, a fully licensed designer, created this luxurious bathroom area. As part of this same project, we upgraded and redesigned the first floor bathroom. This included adding a new awesome over-head rain shower.

The Kitchen & Living Areas:

The other major project was the complete expansion of our kitchen. It is now the most spacious and functional kitchen in our community. We also supplied our kitchen with just about EVERYTHING that you may need for creating delicious family meals. So you simply step and you can enjoy cooking while still being engaged with everyone.

The kitchen has an open design that flows with the rest of the first floor. On one side of the kitchen is a breakfast area for morning coffee and chats. While on the other side, there is a large and inviting family friendly table and entertainment area.

Entertainment Area:

First floor has very comfortable open layout, which is very accommodating for families. We offer the newest entertainment technology TV / DVD player / secure WiFi / Roku / cable channels, Sony stereo, and a special option of Internet connected tiny computer viewed from 37 inch TV screen and more. Nobody else has the high definition cable channels. Plus a library of books / magazines, some music CDs, and various DVD movies. Plus 2 separate USB electronic charging stations for smart phones, iPad, and other devices. We have numerous board games if you want the family to go low tech (for a change).

Most Private Backyard:

Another project was the expansion of our patio and landscaping front and back of condo. Our backyard is very private due to privacy wall and surrounding palm trees, gardens, on one side and new trellis and more trees on the other side. Our personal semi-private backyard and NEWLY expanded patio is furnished with complete outdoor patio furniture (table, shade umbrella, chairs, and tiki torches). For the grill master, we have a very functional BBQ with two propane tanks ready to go. For special touch, we have unique evening and night lighting in patio and umbrella.

Bedrooms & More:

Our place has 2 full bedrooms, plus a nice large loft area. The master bedroom has a comfortable king-size bed (with great high-quality comforter, sheets, and pillows) and digital Samsung cable TV on wall. We get many compliments on comfort and sleep on our high-end mattress, with many asking us for the mattress brand. The 2nd bedroom is very spacious with two full size beds and a comfy foldout bed. There is also an open loft area that has two twin beds. All rooms, including loft, have their own Comcast Cable TVs (4 in all).

Home Office Area:

We created a semi-private / separate area for working, studying, reading or just playing on a computer. We have a desk & new high-end, highly comfortable executive chair, extra flat panel monitors, keyboard/mouse, and printer. These are all ready to connect to your personal laptop. This area is fully stocked with just about everything (paper, pens highlighters, tape, etc.) including even multiple laptop power supplies.

Too Many Amenities to Count:

We have numerous additional amenities to our vacation home. This includes some bikes (2 for adults and 2 for kids), large number of different size snorkeling gears (goggles, fins, a few vests, and diver/snorkeling flag), 4 to 5 higher end tennis equipment, fishing gear and net, beach floats, beach chairs, picnic coolers, a large array of beach towels, beach bags, sand castle building stuff for kids, various board games, balls, Frisbees, hats, mosquito zapper, and the list keeps growing. You can take these to local parks so you will not need to rent as much stuff. (If not sure, just ask us. I’m pretty sure that we have it.)

All comfortable bedding, linens, bath towels and towels included. (No cheap 'sand paper feeling' towels or linen found here.) You walk in and all beds are made. (No bed in a bag found here.)

Our Special Location:

Our condo is in a private with 24-7 onsite security and yet everything is close by. Our townhouse is a very short walk to the pool and clubhouse. The big heated pool surrounded by lounge chairs, the fishing pier and private beach area. Manatees come by swimming around the community fishing pier / boat dock.

Due to our picturesque shoreline (with its small lighthouse, boats), it provides incredible daily sunset photo ops. So bring your camera and a favorite drink to relax in the beach chairs in this family friendly setting as the sun goes down.

You are within walking distance to Founders Park Complex. This offers you a large Olympic sized pool with diving boards, large sandy beach, sand volleyball court, walking jogging bicycling trails, full basketball court, large soccer and baseball fields, Olympic size pool, kiddie water park and more. Plus Founders Park has full marina with rental boat dock slips available. There are numerous popular FREE to you (due to location) events at Founders Park that take place throughout the year.

Yes, this is all close by and situated in Islamorada, the Sport Fishing Capital of the World.

The Extras:

My wife has prepared a 3-ring binder with information about the local area (site seeing, local events, many discount coupons, maps, and more). Our home is surrounded by plenty of great places to eat. Just read our reviews and guestbook for ideas of best eateries and fun things to do. Plus we will be available for any questions via text messaging before and during your vacation.

Super Clean:

Our townhouse is kept extremely clean. Absolutely NO Smoking in unit. Sorry, no pets are allowed by condo association rules. No carpeting, just smooth high-end tiles & wood flooring, marble floors & counter, washer/dryer, screened doors. and ceiling fans to circulate the air in all rooms. (Yes, we have excellent central air.)

Extra Value & Our Rates:

Our rates should be comparable and may be a bit higher than others. But we feel very strongly that we offer so much more in terms of true value and our extras allows you to spend less. So please compare our location, actual home value, extra comfort, and the numerous amenities.

Note that our published rates are for double occupancy. There is charge for adding guests (yes - including children). There is a choice of insurance or damage deposit. (We remove deposit in many cases.) You will be able to pay by credit card, eCheck or check.


There is a non-refundable payment to hold reservation and 60-day cancellation date range. But refunds may take place if we can re-rent and given enough advance notice we should be able to do so).

Number of Guests:

It is a reasonable assumption that additional guests increase our costs. Therefore, we do have a slight additional daily charge per guest beyond two. Security will monitor the number of guests.


Islamorada and our community rules has monthly rental policies. However, we may NOT rent an entire month (28-nights), so we may consider one single rental during that period. The fact is that we do limit the number of rentals, which allows us to be in our home away from home as often as possible.

For me, it has always been about family and sharing fun. So my beautiful wife and I been married for twenty plus years and have two awesome daughters, plus their two cats.

My wife is the one who showed me the importance of taking family vacations and creating our own special getaways. So we have vacationed in numerous US cities, throughout the Caribbean, Canada, Mexico and even South America. Plus we have made multiple trips to enjoy Europe (Italy, France, Spain, Greece, Turkey, Malta and England). Yes, we have created great vacation memories for ourselves!

Why Jose & Marcia chose Upper Florida Keys

We chose this property since we enjoyed snorkeling and diving, fishing, site seeing, photography, and the area’s good food and ongoing events.

We had been coming down to Islamorada & Key Largo for many years. We both dreamed of owning a second home right here in the Keys. Finally, a good friend told us about this community. We came down to visit him at his place and we simply fell in love. We saw first hand the beautiful family oriented pool and clubhouse. From the community's private boat dock, we traveled out on his boat and took in all the wonderful relaxing water adventures and returned just in time for the spectacular gulf sunset. I think that we were completely sold with that final sunset!

Having done so much traveling, we know that our community is a special place. It is so easy to just relax reading or listening to music by the pool. While there are plenty of opportunities to add excitement of the local destinations. These are as close as the dock, or Founders Park next door, or a bike ride away.

By the way, our vacation home is only a nice 1.5 hour scenic drive north to Miami and famous South Beach restaurants and activities. Plus you also head further south on a day trip Seven Mile Bridge, Bahia Honda, or Key West. To get to that special furthest southern point in US, you drive about 1 hour and 45 minutes surrounded on both sides by beautiful water scenery.

What makes this townhome unique

You will enjoy the numerous amenities offered by our community, such as the bay front heated pool, which is conveniently right next to air-conditioned clubhouse and lounge, outdoor patios and community BBQ cooking areas with tiki huts, and plus two immaculate lighted tennis courts (rackets provided).

Next take a two-minute stroll over to the private sandy beach area and take a dip in the ocean water, or sit in one of the various beach chairs and just take some sun. Don’t forget to come back to the beach for the beautiful sunsets. You will treasure memories and the photos of your spectacular waterfront sunsets.

The days are as active as you want in our community. You will see folks walking, riding bikes, or skating around the complex. You can fish alone on the pier / boat dock or just sit and read as the gulf waters surround you. You can walk over next door to Founders Park Sports Complex, which has walking and cycling trails, soccer fields, baseball fields, skate park with incredible boarding ramps, white sandy beach, Olympic size pool, special events and much more... Founders Park has marina with boat slips and ramp.

Leave all concerns behind since our community is private and gated, with 24 hour security. Your biggest concern is what to do each day, what music to listen to, and where to have lunch and dinner. (I recommend that you load your iPod with Jimmy Buffet.)

I am not one to write a review by nature, however I thought it was important since I used them for our vacation. I had a struggle on where to stay for our vacation in the Keys. I decided on the EBC, and booked it. I showed my daughter who is 16 and she had other ideas…she was not happy with my decision. My daughter was going to be taking a friend who was also 16.

I did have some conversations with Jose, who was more concerned about us having a good vacation than renting his house. Needless to say we settled on EBC. Imagine how I felt pulling in and then opening the door to our vacation.

With the girls… When they walked into this house, things changed as to how they felt about staying here. They were extremely happy. In fact, they loved that they had their own room and own beds with a TV. They loved the shower. They loved the space and accommodations, the TV and music. I asked them what they wanted me to say about the accommodations and they said it was perfect.

As far as being perfect, the one thing they said liked best was the home cooked meal. We also managed that night to play cards and games which was great.

The first thing to know is that the description of the condo/house is accurate. So I have nothing more to add here.

I think this location is excellent. We were only a short distance from Key Largo and about 2 hours to Key West. The beach is nice at the EBC and Founders Park but unfortunately we had little time for these. We managed to swim with the dolphins, kayak, fish, parasail, snorkel and visit Key West. Also, this location has good restaurants close by and ones that will cook your fish if you happen to catch some. Which we did and dinner was excellent.

This is the first time we tried something other than a resort or hotel and I would sum it all up by saying we are glad we did and will do it again.

Ultimate resort setting. Take one-minute walk from condo to our sandy beach / pool / boat dock/fishing area. This are all private within our community with 24/7 security. Walk or take our bikes next door to Founder's park, which includes another really nice sandy beach, sand volleyball court, cycling trails, exercise/walking trail, soccer fields, baseball fields, and Olympic pool. We're very close to supermarket, pharmacy, cinema, and hospital. Just a few minutes drive or bike ride to area restaurants. Close to world-famous Tiki Bar and numerous many, many fun places. A daily must see event is the amazing beach sunsets. Just watch from beach chairs or from our dock with a beverage in hand.

Best of all is the shower, just select a combination of what you want - overhead rain shower, shower handle spray, or from 8 jet massage sprays. it's like a real spa, but better! The first floor bathroom was also expanded with its own shower. Nice tile design & overhead rain shower enclosed in clear glass. (We would compare our bathrooms to some of the best hotel bathrooms.)
