Experience beautiful views from 2 different balconies. The Beach House has gorgeous views from the living room and third story balcony! Watch nightly fireworks from SeaWorld or admire the two paddle-wheel boats that cruise between the Bahia and Catamaran Hotels. Sip wine while viewing the spectacular sailing and boating on Sail Bay and compete to see the green-flash at sunsets. Stroll on the sand along the shore or ride a bike along the miles and miles of Boardwalk that outlines Mission Bay and Pacific Beach. The enclosed garage and outside security gated entrance insures an extra safe storage area for bikes, wet suits, towels, etc. Two parking spaces come with the unit; one inside the garage. An outdoor shower provides a quick way to wash off sand from the local Beach.
The immaculate kitchen boasts marble counter tops, updated appliances, and well designed cabinets. For eating in, the open California style kitchen has everything you need. Trader Joe's is only one mile away and offers a wide variety of ready-to-heat-and-eat meals, gourmet salads, and adult beverages. Ralph's, Von's and Pacific Beach Farmer's Market are close by and offer a plethora of American, seafood and ethnic restaurants both on the Ocean and Grand Ave. The dining room table sits 8 and is graced with a wall sized seascape painted by a local artist showing two swimming dolphins exploring the coral reefs. The custom made Italian leather couch in the living room can also sleep an additional person. The living room has vaulted ceilings and for warmth and ambiance, there is an easy to use gas fireplace.
The Master Bedroom has a King size pineapple bed, palm fan and walk in closet. Two bunk beds (sleeps 4) and a full sized bed are in the second bedroom. The Master Bedroom Bathroom has tiled bath and shower area with a large oval soaking tub and extra large shower head. The second bathroom off the larger bedroom has an extra large shower head and dual sinks. High quality 500 thread-count Egyptian cotton linens and fluffy towels are provided for your comfort. Beach towels, beach chairs, beach stroller, beach umbrella, and kid's play toys are also included. An interior laundry and washer unit adds convenience.
Relax on the third floor balcony lounge chairs to enjoy the waterfront view, gorgeous sunsets or nightly 9 P.M. SeaWorld fireworks, only one mile away. The downtown Gas lamp area with its historic restaurants is only a 12 minute drive and Little Italy is about a 15 minutes drive. Balboa Park and the Midway aircraft carrier museum are also adjacent to downtown San Diego, only 12 minutes away. You can fish from the back porch in Coronado. My wife and I have six children who have enjoyed their weekends at both locations. Each unit has a theme. The vacation rental in Coronado is our Nautically themed 'Constitution' Beach House that has a 6 foot by 8' painting of the epic battle of the Constitution against the British Gueneviere in the War of 1812. We also have a model ship of the Constitution on display on a protected child-friendly shelf. We have a boat bed that sleeps two. With a water front view of the Gondolas from the Loews Hotel serenading you each night, the mood is hard to beat. In Pacific Beach, our two bedroom is only 1.5 blocks from the water and has a gorgeous view of Sail Bay on Crown Point. The Hawaiian themed beach house has a mermaid over the fireplace, and Hawaiian furniture imported from Maui and bamboo hardwood flooring. The Crown Point Beach location is a fabulous place to feel young again. The people you meet are laid back, friendly and athletically inclined. This location is child friendly with a playground within a short walking distance. At night, there is not the wild partying atmosphere associated with some other areas of the Beach. You can find it if you want it, but still get a good nights sleep without a bunch of college kids banging on the door. The view is awesome. The bay is fabulous and perfect for swimming!
