I don't know if I will stay again. Joyce is a friend of ours. With her leaving, it will not be the same. Yes, I would recommend this home to to others. The house was very comfortable and clean. Beds were awesome. Kitchen was great! Sorry, I dislike Dish tv. It was hard to navigate. I am a Direct TV baby. Library was cute. Cottage is too much of a man cave now. Miss the quaintness of the den. Would watch football in den when raining. My husband and I are not tall people. The kitchen isle is way to tall and miss the dinning room table. Please get rid of crabby lady. Hahaha. A list of restaurants would be nice. A porch or deck would be cool. Who is going to manage the property once Joyce is gone? (Very sad.)
I have been to this place three times before the remodel. it was a great place before and it will be better now that the place has been upgraded. its great place to go fishing and there is room for everyone. the bay has deep water fishing in the channels and shallow fishing all around the edges. everything is close boat ramp within 7 blocks and bait shops within a couple of miles. fishing will only get better with the amount of fresh water coming into the bay.
what a great place. comfortable, convenient to beach and water, easy access to all the local charm. i enjoyed the place before and now having seen the remodel pics look forward to future visits. i have always enjoyed fishing but this took me to a new level. i went from being a fisher to being a catcher. my only issue was trying to finish a can of beer while fishing, before you can get the can to your lips its, fish on, fish on!!!
It's been a while since I've thrown a fishing line in saltwater, and let me tell ya, this is a great fishing hideaway!!! Don't believe me? That's me with the shark in the pictures!!! The property is very very well maintained and kept up. I had the chance to stay here before and after the renovation, kudos to the owner! Who ever they had come in to remodel the house were true professionals that knew what they were doing. This is a very quiet neighborhood with easy access to the beach and town. If you are considering a trip to the coast with the expectations of having a great time this is the place to be.
We have stayed here about five times and have always been very comfortable. I have some mobility issues and its great not having to climb stairs . The yard is smooth and level so no problems there. The house is well stocked with everything, and it is all being upgraded. Heard there will soon be a covered patio with a smoker and BBQ. Also there is to be a "cleaning station" for your catch with lights, water and food grade top. Just can't beat it, and the fishing is good, too!
Went on a fishing trip with some friends and stayed here. Nice location close to the water, plenty of room (seven of us), fully equipped and ready for a great time. Escape for the weekend and get lost in this hidden treasure, with a bar around the corner and a boat ramp two blocks away. We had A fun trip and plan on returning soon. Don't forget sun block and musquito spray.
