Very cool 2 bedroom, 1-1/2 bath cabin located on 2-1/2 acres in a beautiful, private wooded setting, but only 1/2 mile to Silver Lake and close to all of the action and local attractions. Excellent spot for campfires and enjoying the wooded natural beauty.
Built in 2006, the 'cabin' has an open floor plan, is very comfortably furnished, and the decor is 'rustic' but tasteful and charming. Each bedroom has a queen-size bed, plus there's a queen-size sofa bed in the living room and a double sofa bed on the glassed-in porch.
This little cabin was the perfect getaway for my family. It was clean and comfortable and the kitchen was stocked very well so that I could cook most meals at the cabin. The location is very private, off the beaten path yet a very quick drive to town or local attractions. It was so great to have a washer & dryer, very convenient for taking home clean clothes instead of heaps of dirty laundry! It has also nice to have a grill and fire pit. The enclosed porch was convenient for shoes and wet bathing suits, a good place to try and contain the sand from the beach. There are two TVs and both couches have pull-out beds so you could easily sleep 6-8 people at this house. It is small, but very cozy and we felt right at home!
Debby was great on communication and even let me switch my dates at the last minute because a conflict popped up. We will definitely rent this place again for a vacation at Silver Lake. Thanks Debby!
Can't say enough about this beautiful home. Clean, well maintained, has everything you need for a home away from home vacation. Will definitely be coming back.
Someone stated this in one of the reviews and the are correct the pictures do not do it justice. We had a wonderful stay here and will def be coming back. Everything that was specified are listed to perfection. It was clean and very well maintained. The owner's have excellent customer service. I would not recommend to a friend BECAUSE I want this gem to myself....just kidding! I would def recommend! My husband and I visited the dunes. The only downside was that a lot of the places in the area were closed we went too late in the season. Would have liked to enjoyed the town a little more. Now I know to go earlier than October. Overall my husband and my 2 dogs enjoyed ourselves. Thank you!
Easy, accommodating, everything that was promised and more. Really really great place that is nice clean and has it all. I wish it was for sale I want to move in permanently!
We had a great time and Debby and Jim were very accommodating. The area is really unique and we had a blast traversing the sand dunes. Dogs had a great time running around, and nights were occupied with fun games and fires in the fire pit. Would definitely recommend this location!
What a great place to spend a relaxing time in a beautifully furnished cabin in the woods, not far from Silver Lake. The photos don't do it justice. Plan on coming back next year.
Thanks for a great place to stay.
