Down to earth
Thank you to Lisa for providing a place for us where we felt like we were really living in Anchorage, it's a real home at Lisa's, and she helped us feel immediately comfortable and looked after. We actually stayed twice, first at the beginning of our travels and then we came back after having an adventure down in Seward. We were so grateful to Lisa for such a comfortable home base!
Perfect. Lisa thought of everything. Warm, cozy and charming. Wonderful!
Lisa is a fabulous hostess. She thought of everything for us. The house was warm when we arrived and she had even driven out to the Iditarod headquarters to get us shuttle tickets to the Iditarod Official Start!! There were lots of warm blankets, beautiful art on the walls, maps and brochures for attractions. She was even at the start and took pictures of us that she sent home to us. I felt at home and would have loved to stay longer. We will be back for sure someday! AND, all the restaurants she recommended were fabulous. All within walking distance if you are willing. Just the most marvelous trip!
Great Anchorage rental
We loved this apartment. It is a very convenient location. Much more spacious than a hotel room would have been. It was clean with lots of conveniences of home. Lisa was a great hostess, available when ever we needed her, but did not intrude in any way.
Cozy apartment right in the heart of Anchorage
Lisa the owner was an impeccable host! The apartment was clean and during the summer when it really doesn't get dark she had black out curtains in the bedroom so we slept like babies. Bed was super comfy and that was a bonus since we were there over a week. All the perks of coming and going with a private entrance. Perfect base location for day trips all up and down central Alaska. It's a home away from home.
Wonderfully decorated downstairs apartment
We loved the "Sea Wolf Inn"! We loved the decor and all the little touches. It was a great place for a couple. The owner lives onsite, and is available to help with anything needed, but is very quiet and left us our privacy. One of our favorite little touches was the lettuce potted "gardens" that were available for guests to use.
Great Location, Host and Price
We spent a week at the Sea Wolf Inn and were very pleased. Most everything you need is in the kitchen, the bed is very comfortable and the apartment was warm and clean. Lisa was an outstanding host. She accommodated our early arrival and late departure (took the redeye from LA) and then when the rental car had a flat called around for me and found a shop that was open on Sunday morning to fix the tire. And she offered us some homemade moose stew!. The location is central to downtown; if you wanted you could easily walk to the Anchorage Museum. It is a quiet area and Greta the backyard dog is very friendly. It was cold and rainy during part of our week and the heater worked like a champ. The apartment is an ideal base for exploring Anchorage and the surrounding area. We highly recommend the drive to Seward on a clear day!
Thanks for staying here. Fun to have fello treasure hunters to chat with and share with. You guys were stellar guests.
You will be in Alaska so the possible activities are as endless as your imagination. We are 1 block away from The iditarod trail on Cordova street. walk out the door a see the mushers go by.
