This newly remodeled, lovely little Kool and Quiet downtown retreat is only 5 blocks from the Local Museum.
A $6.00 cab ride or nice walk will get you 10 blocks to the heart of all the Downtown
Resaurants, activities and Art Galleries. Had enough of all the tours and sights, grab a good
book from the small library and relax in the backyard while you catch some rays. There is a small set of stairs leading to your private garden apartment.
Please remove your shoes and relax, there is brand new wall to wall carpeting.
The photos were taken at the hight of summer, if you arrive at a different time of year, the backyard might be a bit different. We strive to make everything as comfortable as possible and are constantly upgrading.
I am a photographer by trade and The sea Wolf Inn is my other passion. I enjoy having guests and sharing my Love and knowledge of this magnificent state and all it has to offer.
Lisa Seifert purchased this house in 1998
I moved into this home because it had charm and a great yard. So close to downtown yet 20 minutes to the wilds of Alaska.
When you stay here you will have all the comforts of home in a prime location. You will have the benifits of a full kitchen, private parking and an oh so comfortable bed all the while saving your budget for more important things like rafting.
Lisa the owner was an impeccable host! The apartment was clean and during the summer when it really doesn't get dark she had black out curtains in the bedroom so we slept like babies. Bed was super comfy and that was a bonus since we were there over a week. All the perks of coming and going with a private entrance. Perfect base location for day trips all up and down central Alaska. It's a home away from home.
We loved the "Sea Wolf Inn"! We loved the decor and all the little touches. It was a great place for a couple. The owner lives onsite, and is available to help with anything needed, but is very quiet and left us our privacy. One of our favorite little touches was the lettuce potted "gardens" that were available for guests to use.
We spent a week at the Sea Wolf Inn and were very pleased. Most everything you need is in the kitchen, the bed is very comfortable and the apartment was warm and clean. Lisa was an outstanding host. She accommodated our early arrival and late departure (took the redeye from LA) and then when the rental car had a flat called around for me and found a shop that was open on Sunday morning to fix the tire. And she offered us some homemade moose stew!. The location is central to downtown; if you wanted you could easily walk to the Anchorage Museum. It is a quiet area and Greta the backyard dog is very friendly. It was cold and rainy during part of our week and the heater worked like a champ. The apartment is an ideal base for exploring Anchorage and the surrounding area. We highly recommend the drive to Seward on a clear day!
Wow, so the beds are snug and agreeable, the full kitchen is convenient to say the least, the space is comfortable and cool and the yard makes the whole experience really relaxing and enjoyable. It's located in a very quaint, pleasant neighborhood. It is an easy walk to down town and the park strip. In fact, its proximity of 2 blocks from 15th makes the entire city easily accessible by car. Lisa was really fun and gave us all the space and freedom we needed. If your looking for a super comfortable place with great location you have found what you are looking for. Can't wait to visit Anchorage again!
This was such a great stay! I arrived in the middle of the night, due to flight delays and Lisa was very accomodating and understanding. Her home is extremely convenient to everything. I used her home as my home base and made day trips to Denali and Seward. Lisa was knowledgeable of the area and had some great recommendations. I am going back at the end of February for the Iditarod and I'm excited to be staying just a few blocks away for that too! Can't wait to stay again and I highly recommend her home.
This was the most comfortable and peaceful stay I have had in Alaska and I have been 5 times in last year. Save on food costs and cook in the fully stocked kitchen. Lisa is very accommodating and friendly. I would stay at this place every time I was in Alaska but it books up quickly. It is close to downtown, 10 minute walk. Wonderful, wonderful, get away.
