Easter weekend.

  • 3 of 5

First off, we had such a great time! Thank you for extending your hours for Easter for us, we really do appreciate it!

When we arrived we didnt realize we were going to be right in the front along the main road (bike rally craziness). The positive on having such a big yard was that the kids had so much room to do their Easter egg fun and the Adults as well! ( Sorry if you found any goodies in the yard :) ). The other thing was the description says 3 bedroom. It definitely was not a 3 bedroom. The master bedroom actually has two beds in it (which in the pics, it looks like those two beds are in separate bedrooms. Cant count a living room ( even if it has a bed) as an extra room, we anticipated a little more privacy for the other families that were with us. The other downfall, was we were lead to believe that the river was right out our back door ( because yall used a picture from the other cabins backyard). We had to walk between two cabins ( that were occupied) which made it a little uncomfortable. Plus we had to share that one dock with MANY other familes that weekend; which they hogged the whole time so we didnt get to really fish. I would definitely love to check out your other properties! We WILL be back! :) Thank you again!

Owner's Response: I am glad everyone had a good time at the Bluebonnet cabin for Easter weekend. Sorry for all the confusion. When talking with you, I always mention it sits at the front of the property, and is not next to any other homes (very private). On my actual website, under" Moo Cow Cabins", I have the configuration of all the beds, and sizes in each room. It has 3 different "sleeping areas", that is why we have a trundle in the living room. Like many homes have a sleeper couch or futon. Since the home is located by itself to the front of the property, it takes 1 minute to walk down to the "3" docks on the river. One large one, and two smaller ones to the sides. Has 150 yds. of river front under huge shady pecan trees with a yard. Glad your little ones were able to hunt their Easter eggs. The Bluebonnet was less cost per night, as the larger cabins, Texas Star & Wagon Wheel, which are right on the river and sleep 14 guest, are more in cost. Both were during my "Value Season". Would love to have you stay with us again any time!

Owner's Response: Thank you for all the kind words about the cabin location. It is a very private cabin, but yet very close to the river. Hope you will return in the near future.
