Bob and Mary Bond, Columbus, OH-
What a great way for our family to begin the new year! We loved our time at the Pinebrook Cabin; the cabin is wonderful!
We hiked up the road and were amazed by the views. The drive to Yosemite was worth the trip! I think our kids' favorite place was the CA State Mining and Mineral Museum. I loved watching the deer, and Wild Turkey wander through the grounds and drank my morning coffee, Amazing!

Thank You for a pleasant stay. We really enjoyed the turkeys and deer in the mornings. During our stay we visited Yosmite several times. We especially enjoyed Mariposa Valley, and huge sequoias. We also found the hike to Vernal Falls challenging and rewarding. I truly believe we could stay busy all summer here!
Iris Cotter, Washington DC-
Our stay was wonderful! Beautiful Cabin and wonderful accomodations! The Steller Jays, turkeys, deer, and other fun wildlife were great!

We are truly grateful that you allowed us to enjoy the beauty and serenity of this place. For a couple of city folk, no better place could we have spent the past 25 days here. We saw the fascinating history of the area, and of course, once again experienced the majesty of Yosemite National Park! The splendor of Mariposa and the surrounding towns coupled with the simplicity of life, are certainly loves for a return visit! Thank You for your constant attention to our comfort and for all the information!

Yet another great weekend visit to the cabin! I can't think of a better way to spend Thanksgiving than the the Pinebrook Cabin! We brought the ATV-Quads this time and the guys had a great time finding new trails. We spent a day in Yosemite which is always a treat, but of course the best part is always just being at the cabin, relaxing and enjoying the deer and the Bluejays. The view is always nice. We had 3 generations here this weekend, and there was something for everyone.

We had a great time! Your cabin has a wonderful layout. Love the creek in front, and meadow in the back. We spotted deer, wild turkey, Stellar Jays, Woodpeckers, and squirrels. We went to Yosemite twice on YARTS bus which was very convenient!
Mariposa Museum was fantastic. The kids rode their bikes happily in the neighborhood. Hope to come back soon!
The Beveridge's, Martinez, Ca-
Thanks for the use of your cabin. We enjoyed our stay very much! Everything we needed was right here. We also hiked up the hill to check-out the old Oak tree and the Indian Grinding holes. Very Cool! We spent a day in Yosemite and a day in Mariposa. The Pizza Factory there makes a 'Mean' Pizza! Hope to come up again!
The Chen's, Salt Lake City, Utah-Thank you so much for allowing us to have the experience to stay in your cabin! It is very cozy and comfortable. I really love the furnishings, you guys know interior design! I hope that more people will get the chance to experience of staying in the cabin as cute and homey as yours. We will refer our friends and family from Utah about your place!
Nelson and family, Oakley, Ca -This place was great! The convenience was a big plus in making our mini vacation truly relaxing. As we rode our ATV's, the trails were absolutely awesome! Our quad riding time was a true highlight to our stay. It was wonderful to have trails for all abilities. The kids had a blast on the quick/easy trails, and the parents enjoyed the challenges like the ride to the Merced River, and Jerseydale, WOW! We look forward to coming back!
The Hahns, Hartford, Wisconsin-We really enjoyed our stay in your cabin! We took daily walks and hikes around the area. We also enjoyed viewing the old Oak Tree, and ancient grinding holes in the surfac
We had a wonderful stay at the cabin!! Just as seen in pictures, however the backyard area exceeded our expectations in terms of view and surroundings! Such a nice, relaxing feel. Even though neighbors are near, they felt miles away. Really felt like we had so much privacy. Came up here for our best friends wedding. This cabin served as the official bridesmaid cabin. Though we didn't get to spend much time in it, when we finally did get to come home after the wedding it was our perfect retreat! We played Jenga, BBQ'd, and swatted flies with the buzzer. Something us city girls had a blast doing. Greg went above and beyond to accommodate us. I had so many questions and changes and he made everything so easy and smooth. The little welcome gift was a nice touch. Thank you, we will recommend this cabin to everyone, families, friends, couples, etc!
The cabin is beautiful just as seen in the pictures. It is very clean, there is lots of space. The patio deck is gorgeous and it is nice and quiet. We spent a lot of time grilling outside and at night you can see the stars beautifully. However the cabin is a little separated from the town where the supermarkets are..so it's at least a good 30 minute drive to get to a vons in oukhurts or pioneer market which was in mariposa still ..but honestly we liked being away from all the noise and hustle...and the drive to get out is beautiful..and u get views and deer, turkey, even some bison. Greg is very helpful and available for any of our concerns or questions. This is a wonderful place to stay that we would love to come back to.
The main thing I want to comment on about this house is how clean it was, but there were so many other details that made the place feel like home. When we eventually moved on, we ended up staying at a filthy cabin, so I think that's why I'm stuck on the spic-and-span-ness of this house. The communication with the owner was top notch. We took full advantage of the cooking equipment including the grill and crock-pot. We try to travel light, so access to a washer and dryer always makes our stay better. The back deck is wonderful, especially in the morning with a cup of tea and a People Magazine. A busy working mother needs more moments like that in her life! Great place, great location. Would definitely recommend it to other families and even bigger groups.
We arrived late at night after visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon earlier in the day, We had no trouble finding the key and getting in. The place looks just like the photos, clean and spacious! Our two children each ran to claim their rooms as we checked the place out, The house is well stocked and we loved having the washer and dryer to use as this was the halfway point in our trip. We loved having a crockpot available so that dinner was waiting when we got back from a long day at Yosemite and we also enjoyed the bar b que grill. My husband got a kick out of watching the deer eat out of the bird feeder every morning. The whole family enjoyed the dollar game.....I wonder if the dollar we left has been found? It was about an hour's drive to Yosemite from the house and was an enjoyable drive. If we make it back to the area some day, we will be back!! BTW, thanks for the welcome gift!
The place was ideal for our small family, but could easily accommodate larger gatherings. We were fortunate to have a longer stay than usual... mid July through mid August. First, communication with the owner was exceptional throughout the process!! He made sure that we were comfortable and made the information about the surrounding area easily accessible and even went the extra mile with a few added touches. We lost count of the various wildlife we encountered (some in the immediate yard, others on the road as you approach the area)... from multitude of birds -- quail, stellar's jay, oriole, woodpecker, turkey -- to the larger game (with the deer often making themselves at home at the bird feeder). This is a place for rest, relaxation and to pull away from it all, while offering access to some of the grand attractions: Yosemite, Sequoia, Kings Canyon, Devils Postpile, Mammoth Mountain and we even made a trip out to San Francisco, Napa Valley (Castello di Amorosa), and a day's drive along the stunning California coastline from Monterey to Morro Rock (Granted, some of these are further than most may prefer, but our family loves driving -- we did drive all the way from Florida, so what's a few more ticks on the odometer matter?). For those who like staying closer to base, there is always the quaint and historic Mariposa. Shopping is accessible enough for all your grocery needs. As for the cabin, the accommodations were clean, the beds comfortable and the cabin is sufficiently stocked for all of your needs. You'll experience a quiet, restful stay in this location. Ample living area for gathering together as a family; the kitchen easily met all of our needs for our extended stay, the size of each of the bedrooms (3) was ample enough, and having two full size bathrooms is always nice. Since our stay was during the summer months, there were a few nights when the use of the window a/c needed the reinforcement of the ceiling fans combined with the stand alone fans. We're accustomed to an electric oven, so we experienced a slight learning curve with the oven in the cabin not being electric (propane?? if my memory serves me correctly??), but we made the adjustments quickly enough. Thanks once more for opening your cabin and allowing our family to have such a wonderful experience... these are memories our children will carry throughout their lives.
We stayed here for three nights as part of our annual US road trip, having driven up from LA,using it as a base for Yosemite.
Owner is great, and throughout the process provided us with lots of information and tips about the area, being responsive to whatever we threw at him.
The cabin sleeps 6 comfortably, with a great deck and BBQ area, which we used each night. The location is fine, very beautiful with nature on your doorstep, and plenty of places to hike locally, as well as Yosemite 60 mins up the road.
Inside the cabin has great beds, TV's well stocked kitchen and good showers for all. Bedding was fine with washer and dryer in garage if you need them.
All in all, we loved it, and would have stayed longer if our trip had allowed. Will we be back? Yes, without doubt.
