Very Convenient and Clean Apartment close to Hyde Park

We stayed at the apartment in October 2017. The best thing about the apartment was that it was so convenient (and safe). It is only a half block from the Notting Hill Gate tube station and only 3 blocks from Hyde Park with Kensington Palace a short walk away. We opted to use the Santander Bike Hire most mornings which had stations close by. There is a great Pub downstairs ( which doesn't cause any noise ) and plenty of coffee / tea choices around the corner. The 1BR Apartment was small ( but most apartments in London are ). We received check in instructions promptly ( with NO extra fee for a late check in ). There was a small BR with Twin beds and storage, a living room with TV, a queen futon ( very firm ) and small table, a very small remodeled kitchen and remodeled bathroom. There are heated floors and heated towel bar -very nice. There is no AC, so we opened the (new) windows and were sufficiently cool. The only thing missing were some washcloths in the bath and a sheet for the futon. The wireless internet did not work when we arrived, so I sent an email to Leonard and Susan and it was quickly resolved. The apartment is on the 4th floor, but there is a lift. There is some traffic noise if the windows are open, but is really quiet otherwise. You can't beat this apartment for the value and location.

Excellent location, daily housekeeping, friendly staff, helpful property manager. Just wonderful.

The location is excellent, close to Hyde park, Westfield Mall and Kensington high street. You feel like you station a hotel. Kitchen quiet small but ok with stay for short period of time. Toilet very clean shower pressure is fantastic. Beds enough for 6 persons fairly. Main door secured. Overall, I loved it and will stay again in this property in my next visit to London.

Great location!

You are right next to the Notting Hill Metro for an easy way to get around. There is a subway and groceries stores nearby. The best part was the pub right outside the building.

Close to everything, great host

An easy walk to the underground & groceries. A great little pub & bookstore steps away, and a fantastic manager. Stop looking and book it

Notting Hill Gate is in the West of Central London in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.

This is a lovely part of London with parks, shops, smart restaurants, Portobello Road market, Kensington Palace and a lively atmosphere. Transport links are excellent with tubes and buses to all parts of London.

Other Activities: Rowing on the lake in Kensington Gardens in summer.
