Fabulous, relaxing, gated community. Condo overlooks the world famous Troon North Golf Course. This unit has both mountain and golf course views. Relax and enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon cocktails on one of two patios that offer a view of the second hole of Troon North's Pinnacle Course and Pinnacle Peak.
Thank you for a wonderful month in Arizona. Great views, cozy amenities in your home, everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Loved the quiet pool, and being close to all the fun in Cave Creek and DC Ranch. Great golf right outside the door at Troon North.
This is a two-story, two-bedroom, 2 1/2 bath condo in a gated community (Stonedge at Troon North). We stayed here in January and February 2017.
The master bedroom (equipped with a king bed) is a very nice size although there is a minimum of drawer space in the dresser for two people. There is a walk-in closet, but much of it is occupied by an excess of extra bedding (sheets, blankets, pillows). I considered the bed to be quite comfortable. There was a "whirlpool" tub (used only once) and a nice walk-in shower with a very good shower head.
I cannot comment on the guest room since it was unused, but it does have two "full size" beds. This closet was also full of extra bedding.
The kitchen was adequately supplied with utensils, pots & pans, etc. There is a Keurig coffee-maker, but it took us a long time to figure out exactly how it worked. We have owned three Keurigs but this one was definitely "entry-level" and not very intuitive. The ice dispenser in the refrigerator did not work.
The gas fireplace in the "family room" puts out a lot of heat and was much-appreciated considering we had a VERY cold January.
The patio (north-facing) is shaded 100% of the time, as is the small porch off the master bedroom. This would be an ideal "summer-time" residence when you seek to be OUT OF THE SUN, but for us - seeking to be IN THE SUN - it was less than ideal. In January and February the patio was frankly too cold to sit on.
The unit has its own garage which easily accomodates one car.
Overall, this unit was a great place to spend January & February (compared to our home state of Indiana) and we would consider renting it again in the future.

This North Scottsdale location is in the heart of golf country with numerous golf options within minutes drive. Troon North Golf Club is at the entrance to our community. Fabulous restaurant at the Troon Club House, Market Street at D.C. Ranch and Desert Ridge shopping centers are close-by. Fine dining and spas can be found at the Four Seasons (less than 2 miles away) and the Boulders resort (5 minutes drive). Visit great restaurants and shops at Kierland Commons (10 min. drive) and the new Scottsdale Quarter. Away in the desert - but not too far from the FUN!
