Tucked into a mountainside, this property has been selected by travel writers for National publications for its ambience, many amenities and location: 3 blocks from downtown Manitou Springs with its many quaint shops and restaurants, 2 blocks from major attractions and just 4 miles west of Colorado Springs. Stay with all the creature comforts you demand. You can choose to open the windows and breathe in the fresh air and listen to the sound of Ruxton Creek running down the mountainside most evenings. You may choose to close up the windows and turn on the A/C in Summer. You can sit on your private patio and watch the clouds roll by or see a thousand stars in the sky. Come soak in your private indoor JACUZZI TUB for two and relax those sore muscles after a busy day of activities. Walk and leave your car in the property's PRIVATE off-street parking, as all of downtown Manitou and the main road to the Manitou Incline are now parking metered. At the Springs is just footsteps from incredible hiking trails including the Barr and Entemann Trails and attractions including the Pikes Peak Cog Railway and the Iron Springs Chateau. My family moved here in 1994. There are many fun things to do here and we wanted to offer some of the best amenities that we have enjoyed in our travels. A Property Manager & Realtor, I also manage a couple of other Properties in Manitou to help travelers when they have a little larger group and/or wish to stay close to each other but not in the same house.
Jeanne purchased this cabin in 1994
This Property feels very private but is easy walking distance to all the unique shops and restaurants of Manitou Springs. The cottage sits somewhat secluded from the road. Every effort has been made to make your stay as relaxing and comfortable as you desire.
Location & Creature Comforts:
1. The Cottage is truly set up for your pleasure including a very largeJACUZZI tub with a brand tankless water heater so you never run out of hot water to A/C for our few really hot days. There is a REMOTE CONTROL FIREPLACE for cooler weather so come relax in comfort.
2. Some extras include a SHADY PATIO with plenty of outdoor seating. Come enjoy the view and stare at the stars at night. While inside, browse thru a few MENUS of local restaurants. You can preview your choices for dining before you journey out for Dinner.
3. You won't pay for parking. We have our own PRIVATE off- street PARKING with an extra space when guests have a special situation. We can accommodate a short motorcycle trailer or if you have friends coming to visit and need extra parking, we can probably meet those special needs that most properties can not. Just be sure and let us know your needs in advance.

5. At the Springs is on the FREE SHUTTLE route that runs all over town year 'round so park your car and take a ride.
We stayed here in May of 2015! I cannot recall the owner's name but she was so nice! This place is so quaint and cozy. We married in Woodland Park and stayed here so that we were close to the darling Manitou Springs markets but also reasonably close to the mountains. And I am an avid runner (fitness freak) and I was in walking distance of Barr Trail and my favorite incline. We WILL be staying here again and again!
We enjoyed our stay in Colorado. The cottage is charming as well as Jeanne, the inn keeper! Perfect location to all the main attraction in the Colorado Springs area. We had enough parking for our motorcycle and our vehicle. We enjoy scenic drives during the day and came back to a cozy and confrontable cottage for a good nights rest. The cottage had everything we needed to make our stay perfect.
Thank you Jeanne!

At The Springs was everything I hoped for and more when I was planning a surprise 2nd honeymoon for my wife.
Could not have picked a more perfect or picturesque setting. The innkeeper "Jeanne" was so nice. She had the kitchen stocked with fresh fruit, cereal, pop tarts and lots of other goodies. The cottage itself was perfect for my wife and I. (kitchen/sitting area, big bedroom with fireplace and the bathroom with 2 person jacuzzi tub (very nice) )!!!! There is huge gas bbq pit just outside the door for cooking anything you want. (don't know why the folks were complaining about the small stove. Just use the pit.) We did not have any trouble at all with the plumbing (maybe the people from the other review flushed something they shouldn't have). We didn't even turn on the tv, just looked out the window at the awesome scenery. Especially the 2 squirrels who seemed to have a game of "toss the acorn" going on every morning. It was also very nice to have our own "off street" parking spot as parking in Manitou Springs is at a premium. The one night it snowed, Jeanne had the walk cleared by 7am. Did I mention that she was great? The location is great also: Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, 7 falls, all the attractions are practically right in your backyard.
Anyway folks, if you're a couple looking for the perfect romantical (is that a word?) getaway. Do not pass on At The Springs. It will always hold a special place in our hearts and I know it will in yours too.
This was our first trip to Colorado, and this was the perfect spot to spend our 2nd anniversary. The location was perfect, with easy access to trails and an easy walk to beautiful downtown Manitou Springs. The jacuzzi tub helped ease our sore muscles after our daily adventures. We highly recommend!
We arrived to a very pleasant surprise. The Innkeeper had put in some fresh fruit as we had arrived late and I was starving. It was great to have a few things like Pop Tarts and Popcorn furnished in this Cottage as I really did not want to run out that evening. The bed was very comfortable and our stay was perfect. I LOVED the bathroom. Being able to walk to the downtown was wonderful. We will be staying here on all our future visits as we love Colorado as this area seems to have the most to do so close by.
The owner was very responsive and communicated with us numerous times prior to our arrival which was very comforting. We rented the cabin for our 1 year anniversary to do some sightseeing and enjoy Manitou Springs. The fireplace is perfect since you can adjust the heat to the exact temperature you want; however, the heat does not travel into the kitchen/sitting room, so it is very chilly in there in the morning. The kitchen/sitting room is a decent size for two people; however, the way she positioned the couch it makes it very difficult to watch tv (maybe if she moved the couch to the adjacent wall, people could enjoy the tv). This wasn't a big issue since we brought an iPad and watched movies on there. The bedroom is very cute and is perfect for the setting in Mantiou. The biggest issue we encountered was the bathroom. The cabin is very old and you can expect some noises just from age but whenever the shower, toilet or tub are going you hear the water run all throughout the walls and come up in the kitchen sink. Our second night there, the shower would not drain and it backed up into the toilet and then the tub. We contacted the owner but unfortunately it was the weekend and could not be fixed. The water eventually drained when we returned from dinner but then as I wanted to take a bath that night (30 weeks pregnant and needed to relax in the tub), the tub again did not drain. This time, the water filled into the shower and toilet. My husband was already asleep and when I realized this happened, the water had overfilled onto the floor. For the next hour, my husband was sopping up water in the bathroom and trying to get the water to stop coming up from the shower. Needless to say, the owner did not compensate us for this incoveince on our anniversary weekend. She did offer for us to walk into her house to use the bathroom but this is not practical when you are waking up every 2-3 hours to use the bathroom since I am pregnant.
We decided to leave early that morning and not deal with the cabin any longer. Our fun anniversary weekend was more stressful than anticipated.I would not recommend this rental!
