Tucked into a mountainside, this property has been selected by travel writers for National publications for its ambience, many amenities and location: 3 blocks from downtown Manitou Springs with its many quaint shops and restaurants, 2 blocks from major attractions and just 4 miles west of Colorado Springs. Once you have stepped up and back from the road below, you can stay with all the creature comforts you demand. You can choose to open the windows and breathe in the fresh air and listen to the sound of Ruxton Creek running down the mountainside most evenings. You may choose to close up the windows and turn on the A/C in Summer. You can sit on your private patio and watch the clouds roll by or see a thousand stars in the sky. Come soak in your private indoor JACUZZI TUB for two and relax those sore muscles after a busy day of activities. Walk and leave your car in the property's PRIVATE off-street parking, as all of downtown Manitou and the main road to the Manitou Incline are now parking metered. At the Springs is just footsteps from incredible hiking trails including the Barr and Entemann Trails and attractions including the Iron Springs Chateau. So what are you waiting for? Call and be sure and ask about our BREAKFAST FIXINS Bonus included with any four night or longer bookings.

My family and I moved here in 1994. We wanted to live in a beautiful place and as you can see, we are still here. We love the many hiking and riding trails, the little town next to the big City(Colorado Springs) and the many wonderful things this area has to offer. I wear several hats including being a licensed Real Estate Broker, being a Property Manager for some longer term rentals and doing some Professional Step-on Bus Guiding as well. In my spare time, I am a Planning Commissioner in this town that I love. I also ride my horses every chance I get.
Jeanne purchased this Cabin in 1994
Why Jeanne chose Manitou Springs
This Property feels very private but is easy walking distance to all the unique shops and restaurants of Manitou Springs. The cottage sits somewhat secluded from the road. Every effort has been made to make your stay as relaxing and comfortable as you desire.
What makes this Cabin unique

Come enjoy the view and stare at the stars at night. While inside, browse thru a few MENUS of local restaurants. You can preview your choices for dining before you journey out for Dinner. 3. You won't pay for parking. We have our own PRIVATE off- street PARKING with an extra space when guests have a special situation. We can accommodate a short motorcycle trailer or if you have friends coming to visit and need extra parking, we can probably meet those special needs that most properties can not. Small comfy and quaint.
We had a great experience. The owner was very nice and helpful. Electric fireplace heater was nice and heated the bedroom just fine. Great time.
Cute little cottage!
Everything was just as promised- clean, quaint, close to everything! The owner is really friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
I reserved this cabin as a gift to a family member for their honeymoon and it was the perfect place! You are within walking distance to so much that Manitou Springs has to offer! Jeanne made their stay absolutely perfect and they enjoyed getting to know the history of the area and the cabin. It was just a great trip and I cannot recommend a stay at this cabin enough! Thanks Jeanne!!
It is wonderful to know that expectations were met, especially when the guests were a Honeymoon couple. This couple was so cute and so in love. It was great to meet them and know they will have some really good memories of their Honeymoon stay!
Great place to stay!

Loved the stay! The cabin was quaint and tub was so relaxing. There is so much to see and do in the area. It definitely lived up to my expectations and I wish we had been able to stay a lot longer! - Patty
Adorable cozy cottage.
We enjoyed our stay in cottage. The ownerror Jeanie is super nice and told us all about the area. Actually took us to one of her favorite places for breakfast. It was delicious. Feel like we made a new friend.
Great trail access and no parking hassles!
Small and simple cabin that had all of the modern niceties that we needed - a free parking space, a nice big shower with hot water after a day of hiking, a coffee maker to make a fresh cup in the morning. Wonderful architecture and artistic touches to remind you of the history and natural wonders of Manitou Springs. One of the best Springs for fantastic bubbly water is on the same street as this property close to the circle at Ruxton and Manitou. It's about 3/10 mile to downtown area shops and restaurants. Access to Entemann / Round the Peak Trail is right out in back of this property! Thanks Jeanne for your hospitality and wonderful tales of Colorado cowgirl life!
