Vacation Rental Amenities KING size bed with pull out sofa in living room. Kitchen includes a microwave oven, dishwasher, typical kitchen appliances, and assortment of pots, pans, storage container, dishes and utensils. The home includes all linens, a washer & dryer, cable, gas grill, DVD player, FLAT SCREEN tv's upstairs and down plus INTERNET . An outdoor deck overlooks a canal with a dock and the pool area. The dock has a fish cleaning station and abundant parking. The boat dock is for small watercraft as the cove within the property can become too shallow at low tide for boats requiring more than a two-foot draft. Boaters with larger boats can arrange to keep their boats at Twin Rivers Marina located within walking distance to the home. Within a short drive is Fort Island Trail Park and Fort Island Gulf Beach, both of which have public boat ramps and fishing piers. Fort Island Beach is the primary beach in the area. Also nearby is the Plantation Inn Golf Resort, a variety of restaurants and shops, and Crystal River’s quaint historic downtown with it’s unique stores and community events. The Seven Rivers Hospital is just a few miles away.

Getaway perfection!

We really loved this place! If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of life, this is the place! We enjoyed being able to walk outside and see the creek, even saw a crab. You can also see the pool, we can't wait until spring or better yet, summer to come back with the kids and swim. There's a beach not far where you can watch the sunset and swim, fish, picnic. We saw 3 manatees and we weren't even looking for them.

I forgot coffee filters and the property owner already has stuff like that stocked. I think they thought of everything! Super charming place, the neighbors were nice and helpful.

We loved it so much, I sent a message asking if we could stay a few hours longer after check out time and the owner told us to take our time and enjoy our stay, who does that anymore?!

The town was sleepy, perfect for us, it's all outdoors fun and wandering. We ended up going to the Homosassa seafood festival and a huge local yard sale, of course we had to go see monkey island as well.

Already planning our next trip back, would recommend this place to anyone!

Old, Tired and Dirty

Very disappointed. The dead bugs in among the crockery made me want to leave there and then. The place hadn't been cleaned and although the bed had fresh linens it was one of the most uncomfortable I have every slept in. It is really far from town on a very windy road.

Owner's Response: Not quiet sure why you are so unhappy. We are local home owners and clean our condo ourselves. We take pride in our unit and have been renting it for a long time. Has just been totally remodeled. I am sorry it was not up to your expectation.

Quaint and quiet in the marshland!!

The condo was super cute and very clean! Had everything we needed, the only negative were the gnats that are out from 4 pm until 730pm..they will carry you away! Bring your bug spray. The pool area was very nice..too cold out to use,but was very well maintained! Great to have a private boat dock and a place to keep our boat trailer!

My husband and I are both Natives of the area. We have raised our 3 boys in Crystal River and have enjoyed all the nature Citrus County has to offer. We have 9 Grandchildren and have enjoyed the condo many times and entertained them in the pool and off in the boat fishing.. A great place to relax and enjoy the waterfront activities. I am a realtor with Re/Max and have been an agent since 1979. My spouse is a retired Charter Fishing Guide following the footsteps of his Father and Grandfather.. Previously retired from Withlacoochee River Electric and now doing what he enjoys.
