Located on Techumseh Island, Indian Lake. This property is on
one of Ohio's largest lakes and is an outstanding vacation
and pleasure resort and a fisherman's paradise. With 5,800 acres of
water and an area of approximately 13,000 acres of land and water
with an irregular, rugged, wooded shoreline of more than 29 miles,
it is one of the largest, most beautiful and most popular vacation
playgrounds in the midwest.
My home was built in the 1940's and sits on the north-east corner
of the island accessible by car over 'Dream Bridge'. For the early risers you will experience a fantastic sun rise as the water lays ripple free. The morning sun will bring the lake to life.
On the inside, the first floor includes a queen master bed room,1
full bathroom, kitchen dinning area, TV area, and a sun room with
fire place. Large windows and glass sliding door to look at the lake.
Upstairs you'll find a finished attic/loft with 2 separate rooms
containing 3 queen and one full size beds and a 1/2 bath.
My home can comfortably sleep 6-8. (1 queen in the master Bedroom
and 3 queen size & 1 full size beds upstairs).
The kitchen is complete with all needed utensils and dishes. It also
includes a large refrigerator, stove, oven, micro wave, and
dishwasher. Full size washer and dryer. Central A/C and a water softener.
Firewood is supplied for the portable fire pit and a gas grill.
Thanks for the use of your cottage. The girls enjoyed counting the light houses throughout the house. In case you were wondering there is 38 light houses in the bathroom alone. "Something for little girls to do on a rainy day".
Also, thanks for leaving the board games, cards, and puzzles. It created some quality family time.

Nice Location and we had a great time visiting with our family. We enjoyed participating in the "Ring of Fire." There was a corn hole game that was played often.
It is listed as a home with three bedroom and one and one half bathrooms. The upstairs half bath does not have a door on it and the wall only goes up part of the way so it really was not used much. The bedrooms upstairs were not separated by a door so more like a loft.
Thanks Kent for a great family vacation. We all enjoyed the views and house. Will definitely call to book again. Thank you the O'Neal family
We had a wonderful vacation and GREAT weather. We rented a fishing boat for the week and enjoyed using the dock. We had a problem with the gas grill and the cottage's maintenance person arrived within an hour to access the problem. We had a new grill installed by 10 am the next morning in time for our planned lunch for 12 people. Great customer service! Two of our guests said they will rent this cottage next year because of this experience.
We loved our stay. We will return if our schedule allows. Nice pier for boats and great views of the lake. This property is perfect for being out of the wind and the waves are limited.
Serenity House was just great. Has all the comforts of home and then some. Great location on lake for fishing, Nice dock for my boat. The rooms are all good sized and the Washer and Dryer to use was a nice Plus for our stay. Will defiantly be staying again. A great deal on a nice place to stay. Thanks
We would like to thank Kent for sharing his lakeside home with us.We stayed 4 nights in May and had a fantastic time. This house is perfect.Had everything we needed, well stocked kitchen, plenty of room and oh my goodness what a view!We lost track of the number of fish we caught right from the back dock.We grilled dinner every night except for the last night and ordered pizza.I can see why you call this home"Serenity"..so calm, peaceful and relaxing. We hope to be able to return in the fall for a few more days.
