|Minimum Stay||2 - 8 nights|
Enjoy breathtaking views from this beautiful and immaculate year-round Lake Geneva home on one of Wisconsin's prettiest lakefronts. This fully furnished home is located on Lake Como, which is a quiet, non-crowded lake with a shallow bottom and provides 180 degrees of lake viewing.
The lake is approximately 10 feet at it's deepest, so it's a perfect lake for boating, tubing, waterskiing, swimming, fishing and more. In fact, there are World Barefoot Waterski Champions that live and train on the lake!
The house is located just three miles west of Downtown Lake Geneva and all the shopping, entertainment, theaters and restaurants it has to offer. You'll also be steps away from the famous Mars Resort Bar & Restaurant with a piano bar and outdoor seating on the lake. They serve great food in a fun and comfortable setting and have outdoor entertainment occasionally on summer afternoons by the lake, which can be enjoyed from this house! In the evenings, the restaurant is busy, but it's a quiet dining crowd.
The backyard is large and private, with a fence separating the house from the restaurant next door. There's a small private beach and pier with a boat slip to accommodate your own boat or one that you rent during your stay. We have a couple contacts for boat rentals and private water ski schools and would be happy to share them with you. The pier is typically in the water from April-October, depending on the weather.
The home has a wrap around deck with a seating area, outdoor fireplace and a BBQ grill on the first floor and a 2nd floor balcony, all overlooking Geneva National Golf Club, with its three 18 hole championship golf courses. Several more courses are just a short drive away, making the house perfect for golfers---but of course not limited to them. The house is also an ideal destination for weddings, team building, couples, families, and adult groups of friends.
The house has an open floor plan with a kitchen that seats 8, opening to the living room with an additional dining table for 4 and couches, all overlooking the lake. There's a two-sided fireplace, a flat screen television with a DVD player along with a Bose Wave Sound System that can accommodate your music library on your smart phone or a CD.
There are two first floor bedrooms with queen beds in each, both have wall mounted televisions. There are also three semi-private sleeping areas in the second floor loft with two twin beds in each, for a total of 6 twin beds. There is also a sitting area with a wall mounted television and a queen-sized sofa sleeper, giving the house a total occupancy of 12. We also have a portable crib and a high chair for those traveling with babies and there is a full size washer and dryer on the second floor. There are also two full bathrooms, one on each level.
This is an amazing home with a great location. Not only will you be in the center of all the fun, but you'll be able to enjoy the most magnificent sunsets in all of Lake Geneva from the house, yard, pier and deck. For the lucky ones staying for the 4th of July, you'll have an unobstructed view of the spectacular Geneva National fireworks display that will take place directly across the lake. You won't have to fight crowds and find parking, but instead will be able to enjoy them from the comfort of this home.
The local resorts have year round activities to keep our visitors busy all year. Winter is a great time to visit, as we are located near two ski hills, with ice fishing on the lake, great cross country skiing, ice skating and sledding nearby. Autumn is a beautiful time, as well, with gorgeous foliage throughout the area including breathtaking views across the lake. There are also orchards for apple picking and many fall and Halloween events to enjoy. Spring, too, is a great time. With the ice gone, Lake Como and Geneva come back to life! There is a strawberry and blueberry farm for picking up the street and plenty of other fun seasonal things to do and see.

Wendy Murphy purchased this house in 2006
Take advantage of the Geneva Lakes area without the congestion of downtown.
The home is on the water and has it's own pier with a gorgeous view of Geneva National Golf Course. The pier is typically in the water from April through October, depending on the weather. You'll enjoy the best sunsets in the Lake Geneva area.
It was the perfect home and location for a relaxing weekend away. We enjoyed the comfort of the home, the convenience to the city and town of Lake Geneva. Thanks for giving us the perfect weekend away - everything was wonderful!
We stayed here for a long extended family weekend over the Christmas holidays, and had a great time. The setting was very peaceful and serene for snowy walks along the lake, but also close enough that we were able to get into Lake Geneva for some holiday fun. Wendy had decorated the house for us and everything was very festive. The size of the house was perfect for our group of 10 adults and 2 kids, including a nice large kitchen for cooking holiday meals. One word of caution. Most of the beds are in a loft space and thus are open to each other and open to the downstairs. It's set up so that each alcove has some privacy, but if you have a group where, for example, half wants to get up very early or stay up very late, I could see noise or light being an issue. However, we had no problems with that--the arrangements worked out great for us. We will definitely plan to stay again next time we're in the area.
This was the perfect family home. The house was immaculate and even better than the pictures. My family and I went in the for a winter family getaway, and it was just perfect. The fireplace was amazing and it was so cozy! We can't wait to come back!
My family of 12 really enjoyed our stay. We really didn't need to bring anything but food. Throughout our stay you'd hear "There are [spices, games, a high chair, pack and play, books, movies, fire sticks, wi-fi, etc] here. We had a great time for Thanksgiving and the home helped to create the atmosphere we wanted. If the opportunity arises we would definitely stay here again.
We stayed at this home for my sons Lake Geneva wedding. It was a perfect location and a short distance to downtown LG.
The interior exceeded my expectations, the photos do not do justice to how nice it is. I highly recommend staying here.
The Mars resort is next door and we could enjoy the band music from our firepit! The owner was very nice and exceptionally helpful!
Thank you for the use of your very lovely VRBO.
I am speaking for our all girl cousin group of six.
We all agreed that your home, the beach, the weather and the accommodations were perfect.
The outdoor music coming from Mars Restaurant also helped to make our stay very enjoyable.
Our family loved our stay on Lake Como. The place is great and comfortable for a good sized family. Views of the lake are great, private beach makes it easy to get peaceful beach time whenever it is convenient for you.
