Dear Julian, We had a safe trip back to Germany and like to give you some feedback about your house. Staying at your Florida home was a real pleasure for us and we throughly enjoyed every single day. The house is so beautiful and perfectly equipped, we liked the neighborhood a lot and felt very safe! Since we are a family of four, three bedrooms and two bathrooms were perfect for us. We enjoyed going to nearby Pass-A-Grille Beach as well as relaxing at the community pool. We had a perfect vacation which we throughly enjoyed and would like to spend our summer 2016 vacation in your house once more. Beautiful spacious townhome in excellent condition. Very well maintained with all the conveniences of home Nice quiet neighborhood conducive to walking and enjoying the sunshine. The pool is only a few steps from the front door and the beach less than 2 miles away. Location is ideal with close proximity to restaurants, shopping and downtown St. Petersburg. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing stay with access to a variety of amenities.

Isla del Sol is an island community of 350 acres of beautifully manicured tropical gardens surrounded by the waters of Boca Ciega Bay. It is located on the southernmost tip of St. Petersburg, a pebble's throw from St Pete Beach. With an average temperature of 73.7 degrees and 361 days of sunshine a year, St. Petersburg is Florida's 'Sunshine City'. The island boasts an 18-hole championship golf course, the Isla del Sol Yacht and Country Club, as well as a beautiful white sand beach with mature coconut palms. There is also 'The Shoppers Village' complete with a bank, post office, several restaurants, clothing shops, a florist, gift shops as well as many other quality shops. Isla is conveniently located to a variety of recreational facilities above and beyond the local amenities.The unspoilt beaches of Ft. DeSoto are just a short drive to the South. The Gulf Beaches are a 3-minute drive to the West. If you like golf, tennis or boating Isla has a country club that consists of The Isla del Sol Golf Course; it is an exceptional 18-hole championship layout.
Challenging fairways, beautiful bunkered greens,shimmering lakes and gardens enhance the beauty and heighten the challenge of the course. The Tennis Center consists of nine lighted soft, Har-Trucourts, first class instruction, clinics, member events, round robins, mixed doubles, active singles and doubles competitions, and other events held throughout the year. If you are a boater there is also a yacht club. It boasts a 78- slip Yacht Basin for sailboats as well as large motor yachts and small runabouts alike.
It is not uncommon to see the muted pink roseate spoonbills feeding in the mornings in the tidal creeks. There are also numerous birds to be seen, such as the great blue heron, cormorants, Florida wood storks, the majestic osprey as well as many other sea birds feeding and resting in and around one of several of our lakes located throughout the island.
The quaint Spanish named streets meander through beautiful stately royal palms, queen palms, oak trees as well as hundreds of other tropical specimens. The architecture is comprised of high-rise, mid-rise, 2, 3 and 4 story buildings as well as townhouses all with a Mediterranean flair.
The island is truly paradise. It is a totally relaxing place to be.
