Why June Taylor Wolcott chose Bethany Beach
We'd rented this house for many years when the owners (Rob's mentor, Allen Ferguson and his wife Audrey) decided to sell it. The Ferguson's were early purchasers in the little bayside waterfront community of Bay View Park and got the lot with the BEST VIEW. The serenity of watching sunset from the deck is something we wanted to keep -- and share with others.
What makes this House unique
Being able to have 2 vacations in one -- the bay side with bird watching and kayaking and the beach with body surfing and fun in the sand -- make this a unique vacation spot. The community of Bay View Park offers a quiet retreat even in the busy summer season. Many people like our varied collection of artworks from around the world. (And many by the original owner Audrey Ferguson.)

Lovely get away
Nice little oasis with just the right amount of space. The porches were lovely, perfect place for coffee in the morning. There is a great view of the bay for those of us who are bird lovers. The location is central, just quiet enough with easy availability to towns and places with more activity. Everyone had a blast whether swimming, boating, or just enjoying the area. The nearby town was a lot of fun for a night out, with the kids finding the arcade and some great ice cream shops. Getting to the beach was a bit more involved then we had initially anticipated, but once we found the route all went smoothly and it is definitely worth the journey. The homeowners were quite accommodating, providing a lot of useful information, with quick follow up to any questions. A very pleasant stay overall.
Beautiful Bayside Location
The house has a great location on the bayside of Route 1. The beach was convenient and the kayaks and canoe at the house were a big plus! The views were so beautiful; we watched the bay action more than the TV! Even at the busiest season, this area is not overcrowded at the beach. Would love to return!
Enjoyable Bethany Beach Home
From the deck and windows on the west side of the house, we enjoyed the beautiful view of the marshes with many wading birds and ducks. The 5 bedroom house was clean, and well equipped to provide all the amenities, including kayaks and a canoe, for our 3 children and 5 grandchildren. There was a beach within a 10 minute walk, and a beach with lifeguards, restrooms, and snack shop within a 5 minute drive from the house. Great location for our family's beach vacation.
The perfect escape
We absolutely loved staying here. The view is amazing, it’s located in a nice and quiet neighborhood that’s a short walk to beach. The house was very comfortable, the breeze from the bay kept us cool and we enjoyed the many amenities of the home. We had young teenage boys with us who put their electronics away during the stay and enjoyed fishing, crabbing, and kayaking. Bring a good camera with you, as you will want to capture pics of the many bird species. Guarantee you will love staying here!
Breathtaking Sunsets & Views
This beautiful well built home is situated right on the bayside with views and wildlife that are absolutely incredible. We loved how close by this little slice of heaven is to everything we wanted to enjoy while vacationing over this Easter Break. We even caught the Sunrise service in Bethany Beach on Sunday and cooked my homemade Easter Bread in the kitchen. June the owner has everything you could possibly want and need to enjoy cooking in her adorable kitchen. This home was so much more than my husband and I could have expected and we didn’t want to leave. Tranquility and Serenity all in one place, we cannot wait to come back and visit and make more memories with our family!

Great Place. The views of the wildlife/area and bay from the deck are almost as majestic as the ocean. Staying here is like having your own private beach too.
