We have a true Pride of Ownership. One Family owns this Condo. We COMPLETELY remodeled when we bought the unit 3 years ago. We built out the loft and it is perfect for kids of all ages. This Property is VERY Centrally located. In the winter with proper snowpack, with some effort, you can ski home. You can walk to the lifts, once again it's 500 yards, in the morning. There's WIFI and Flatscreens throughout. Everything is new: Beds, Couches, Towels and linens, carpet, paint, tile, 3 Flatscreens. All amenities are included, Propane BBQ, Kitchen ware, Microwave, K Cup Coffee Maker/Regular Coffee Maker, Toaster, PopCorn Popper and pack and play for children, even stocked with paper goods. There is Wifi, Cable, Netflix, Roku, iPhone Docking Stations. Excellent for kids, lots of SAFE places to sled and play in snow. Backs up to USFS.
There's a Car Port which is RARE for the Condo Complexes. This is a Clubhouse, not many Complexes have them, with a few work out machines, Ping Pong, Pool Table and Sauna. Theres 2 Hot Tubs and a Swimming Pool in the Summer only. You can walk to 2 of the BEST Restaurants in the SLT Area. Very quiet location yet within minutes of Casinos, Lake, Heavenly, Hiking and Restaurants
Thank you so much for letting us stay at your property. We really enjoyed the Condo, the location and the riding at Heavenly. I ended up meeting the son of one of the other condo owners in the complex, and he was good enough to take me out for the afternoon. We went through Killabrew a couple of times (Pipeline) - I agree that this is some of the steepest terrain I have been on. Also several runs through Mott Canyon - the best was a challenge to get to, but worth it - almost untouched powder.
The direct walk up through the snow from the top of the condo complex was interesting the first few times as there were no previously packed tracks - I'm not sure if you know how much powder there was - very hard work, but certainly the best way up. Coming home was easy - just ride down the hill!
We also went to the restaurant you suggested Chimaya (?) Grill - very nice. Our boards were waxed by the guys you recommended, and were ready first thing next morning.
I will be recommending your condo to anyone else I know going to Heavenly, and I hope to be able to visit again.
Booking with Kristine and John was quick and effortless. They were helpful and accommodating! Directions and finding the spot was easy. The condo is older but neat and clean! Car port was really handy. Snowshoeing was right outside our condo so that was a bonus for sure. Hot tubs were good but need the leaves cleaned out of them each day.
Condo unit was well equipped and our only concern was getting the tvs to work...which really wasn't a big concern.

John (the owner) was extremely friendly and helpful. The place was great and was exactly as described. Couldn't ask for anything more!
The condo was perfect for our family. The beds were very comfortable and the pellet stove kept us warm even though it was a particularly cold weekend. Our kids (9 and 11) loved the loft room, club house, and playing outside in the snow. The house was well-equipped with lots of night lights and all the little kitchen items we needed, and instructions for the appliances were very clear and easy to follow. The covered parking is great, but clearance is low so if you have a roof rack like we do you will need to take it off to fit.
The owners were very communicative before, during, and after our stay to make sure everything was going well. The onsite manager was also very friendly.
The location so close to Heavenly was very nice, allowing us to make it to the lifts before traffic started backing up through the surrounding neighborhoods on the weekends.
We will definitely try to stay here on future trips to Tahoe.
Absolutely oustanding value!!!! We've done maybe 25 VRBOs over the last 12 years or so, and this in the top three. Tons of room for our family of five. Loft works excellent for teenagers / kids. WiFi was particuarly easy-to-use. This is a private individual vs. rental company, lots of small touches. like sissors. String. Splenda. salt. laundry detergent. etc. just makes things so much easier!! Owners were esp. easy to deal with. ONLY critisim I can come up with is the parking is very tight, esp. for a big vehicle (we had a 4wd suburban). but it is covered. LImited TV channels but hey. if you come here to watch TV you came here for the wrong reason! thanks for an excellent stay and expierence!!!!
I would highly recommend this place who is looking for a nice & clean place that is really close to all the things in Tahoe. We stayed here for almost 3 days and loved each moment of it. He has everything that you would want in a house (fully stocked kitchen , multiple heaters for staying warm , fast internet etc ..)
The pleasure of talking to John (the owner) could also be reason why you should consider this place. He is very helpful/understanding and is always a phone call away. There were multiple problems in our case on our trip to Tahoe ( Closure on highway 50 due to mudslides , tree falling etc) , but John understood all that and was very considerate of the circumstances. ..
Overall , highly recommended :)
