Located in Nice (French Riviera) downtown with a view onto a garden and fountain close to the sea and next to the old town (castle, churches from the XVIth century), in one of the nicest districts of Nice. The apartment is Design furnished (Boffi kitchen with Vicco magistretti dining table), Zanotta sofa, Molteni dressing... In the surroundings you can experiment with french gastronomy in many excellent restaurants, you can shop too in Cannes or Monaco or in Italy (the boarder is about 35 kms). The Mediterranean Sea (the famous Promenade des Anglais) is less than 10 minutes walking from the flat and the French Alps less than 1 hour driving. There's no problem here to speak American or English, the anglo-saxon community is very important (more than 50 000 people).
I'm working as lecturer at the University of Nice. I live with my kids which are students, I'm fond of literature, fine arts, jazz and rock music, architecture and history, traveling and running.
This property is very close to the old town near by all commodities, this is an huge, very confortable apartment.
Owner très sympa, very helpful - spacious apartment with good ambiance. A great park nearby for playing soccer with children, with Old Nice and its restaurants only a few steps more. We enjoyed the stylish kitchen with its French door allowing the fresh air to waft in while sitting. Bedrooms a bit spare, could use a linen refresh. Overall quite enjoyable. Grocery store across street very good and open Sundays.
We are a family of 2 adults and 4 children who spent a week in Nice in July. It is in a great location close to the park and the old town. There are many great places to eat nearby and there was plenty of space in the apartment for all of us. The supermarket directly across the road is great and the kitchen is very well equipped with everything you might need. The beach is within walking distance and the children loved walking back from the beach through the old town, stopping at Fennochio's for an ice cream on the way home.
Very pleasant apartment within easy walking distance of the beach, Vieux Nice and many other features. Spacious and able to cope with our group of 7. Supermarket across the road very useful. Daniel was a pleasure to deal with and made us feel very welcome in his home. Thank you!
This apartment was suitably placed in walking distance to the beach, nightlife and train station, but far enough away not to be disturbed by people on an evening. The apartment its self was extremely spacious and up to date withh all mod cons and everything you needed to dine in, it was very clean and well maintained. Wi Fi was a great asset as we could research places we wanted to see. Having 3 bedrooms for a family of 5 was an added bonus as noone neede to sleep on the sofa. The owner was exceptionally helpful and this helped enormously especially as my husband needed a doctor. All in all highly recommended.
The apartment is really great, with lots of rooms and the beatutiful living room and kitchen. For large families, it is also most helpful with two bathrooms.
The position is perfect, very close to the old town and the beach. Grocery store just across the street made daily shopping very easy.
The owner, Daniel, was very pleasant, and all details of payment went very smoothly.
I would also recommend the very good restaurant around the corner, Les Epicuriens, although good restaurants are not a scarcity in Nice.
All in all, a very good choice if you are 5 (as we were) or even more.
The flat is very close to the beach, the casinos, Chagall, Matisse and Dufy museum, the old town (churches from the XVIe century). There's too many shops (Chanel, Gucci, Vuiton)
