Though the place itself was beautiful, we received a call the day we arrived from the owner telling us the 2nd toilet was "sluggish" and advised us not to use. There were 5 of us and doing without the 2nd bathroom that we were told the place had was difficult. Long story short, the toilet problem was never solved even though my husband and an elderly neighbor tried cleaning out the trap. Owner offered $200 off our next visit. We asked that amount off this visit. The owner "was taken aback" at our request. Having rented on VRBO before, all properties we've previously rented had someone on call for any such issues. Also, the place allows pets and there is a strong dog odor in the lower level.
