KITCHEN INCLUDES GRANITE TOPS, SUBWAY TILE BACK SPLASH, OPEN SHELVING, NEW CABINETRY, NEW OVERSIZED UNDER MOUNTED SINK WITH COMMERCIAL PULL OUT SPRAYER FAUCET, NEW D/W, COSMIC RANGE HOOD, ENLARGED 50+ GALLON WATER HEATER (NO COLD SHOWERS!), NEW ELECTRIC, NEW PLUMBING, BEAUTIFUL LIGHTING PENDANTS AND TASK LIGHTING, NEW FLAT SCREEN TV, NEW TASTEFUL DECOR IN GREAT ROOM WITH NEW FURNISHINGS, BRIGHT, OPEN, AIRY, FRESH AND COMFORTABLE LIVING SPACES, 2 TVs, 2 VCRs, DVD player,CD/cassette tape deck stereo, 2 Queen beds, 1 Queen futon in LR, and 1 futon in downstairs BR, 2 full baths, and lots of comfy furniture to either snooze in, read a good book, converse with friends or watch the newest release. Floor plans in the Century are VERY UNIQUE! Nothing else like it in OC or the surrounding environs. Think of a s story townhouse within a tall apartment building!

We are up on the 16th and 17th floor. Exit the elevator in the center of the building, turn north, and we are on the left. Enter unit, staircase to the right, bedroom with private bath (oversized vanity, tub/shower combo, toilet and wall to wall mirror), queen size bed, full size futon, small size TV, closet and storage is straight ahead. One complete wall is all glass (floor to ceiling, wall to wall) and overlooks the bay, simply stunning and sweeping views! Hopefully no one in your party has issues with acrophobia....There is a small deck off the bedroom with limited seating should you want to pause and take in the views and coastal breezes overlooking the bay....

Go upstairs and you will see a similarly positioned bedroom, also featuring a queen size bed and a comparable window wall of glass with the same spectacular views of the bay. The private bath includes a large walk-in shower, another oversized vanity, toilet and even larger mirrors!

Exit the bedroom and walk towards the ocean, pass the open u-shaped staircase and you will enter the kitchen that opens to the living area (with futon, ample seating, TV, home stereo, beach reading and so much more) and leads you to the balcony that overlooks the ocean and includes a wicker settee, two matching arm chairs, two rocking chairs and small table.

Building lobby was refurbished in 2015 and is extremely attractive. A wonderful meeting place or a nice opportunity to sit and pause after a day at the beach. Don't forget we have exercise facilities on site and sauna - both overlooking the dunes and beach. Additionally, there is a large deck, outdoor showers and a private path that takes you directly to the beach. And the indoor pool, when hoping to escape the sun or occupy children during a rainy day, is open from mid May to mid September. From September until May passes are available to swim at the Clarion pool and use the pool side restaurant which is a short walk.

Also on site is the state of the art exercise facilities, indoor pool, sauna and huge beach side deck.

Very walkable to restaurants, shopping, places of worship, additional parking and food markets.

We bought the HOME because we thought it was a unique layout, in a great building with very nice amenities and UNMATCHED views of both the ocean and bay. Privacy, quiet and very bright with natural light even though there are only two sources of light on each floor. When we come and use the property we love the fact that we can park our car and never feel compelled to use it until we are getting ready to leave. Everything you could want is within walking distance, food, restaurants, shopping and entertainment. We love the balconies - one that overlooks the ocean where we spend most of our time whether rocking away with our morning coffee or capping off a perfect beach day with a glass of wine. We take many of our meals outside and there is ample seating in the great room where we are able to catch up on the newest cinematic releases.

We knew when we saw this property we had to add it to our collection of unique vacation rentals!

What makes this condo unique

After seeing units in many of the other neighboring properties, we chose this one because of the direct ocean AND bay views, the privacy of the unit and the unique floor plan. Both bedrooms have full walls of glass that have simply incredible views!

We also like having the exercise facilities on site and the indoor pool, which is not available at all vacation rentals.

Excellent, we recommend to everyone.

First off, in Wendys condo you are a guest , not a renter, therefore from the moment you arrive to secure your keys to the time you leave, line ups don:t exist, as you are always a priority to them. As a guest you reveive front of the line service and this is excellent. Your vacation begins the moment you arrive! Beautiful condo, completely furnished and every amenity we could think of. Right on the beach, clean, beautiful breezes, a full grocery store right across the street in a very secure building, what more could you ask for? The owner is always contactable and very helpful with tips to make your stay even better. Thank you again Wendy for having us. Definitely 5 stars for us!

Great views

Owner's Response: Glad you enjoyed your stay and our condo! We love the ocean and bay views as well, especially in the evening, ocean side, with a beverage in hand and relaxing on the balcony after a day of beach sun. I am sorry the steps were an issue; I guess that's the price you pay when the building is situated just behind the sand dunes slightly above sea level with direct access to the beach. Nonetheless, I hope you will consider returning!

Worst experience ever!

Never again. Place was FILTHY dirty. Trash, dirt, coffee grinds and sand everywhere. They did not clean anything. They left food in the fridge (pizza, milk, carton if eggs full of broken shells, butter and smashed banana). Oh. And I forgot to mention the hair ALL over the inside of the refrigerator. Dirty dishes in the dishwasher. Absolutely FILTHY. The shower door was broken and laying in the shower, the washer was broken and dryer was making a very loud squealing noise. The bedroom carpet was drenched all week (most likely from previous renters taking showers with the door off??). We made sure the door was fixed prior to showering because we have common sense.The closet door was broken and you could not shut the bedroom door. The hot and cold water were reversed, which the owners have known and have not bothered to fix. It took about an hour to fish quarters from the garbage disposal. The sink backed up every time you ran the dishwasher, even when you used the disposal. The hot water was turned off. Apparently to "save money" in the few hours of inoccupancy, according to the maintenance company. The beds (OMG!) were filthy and the futon covers were covered in stains. Fortunately we had our own linens, pillows, towels, etc. I have never stayed in such a disgusting rental. Many more issues with this place than I even care to elaborate. The maintenance company arrived after a few hours to "fix" things. Or maybe just enough to get us through the week. The cleaning company came back and still didn't clean properly. I had to ask for each specific area (clean the coffee table, clean the coffee grinds and spills off the kitchen floor). I spent 5 hours of my first day of vacation waiting for cleaning/maintenance companies to come and go and several hours of cleaning I had to do. I could not stand the thought of my family staying in such filth. It was ridiculous. So now maybe you can understand. Never again.

Owner's Response: As popular as our home is, I would be mistaken to say that there are times when things don’t go quite as one would hope; try as we might to make sure every rental goes smoothly. Unfortunately this traveler did not have a positive experience, and for that I am sorry. We engaged a new brokerage company this summer (our “eyes and ears” on the ground) and we are still working out the kinks. As soon as I received word that the unit was not properly cleaned and that there were issues, I arranged for the cleaners and maintenance to return. As the traveler states, they were there within hours of the call. I made a point of following up with the traveler the following day to ensure the items were addressed to her satisfaction and offered a concession. I do not believe I received a response. If I am not told of issues, I cannot address them. Not every traveler treats our rental homes in a respectful or responsible manner and when you have a “bad apple” not only is it disturbing to see the destruction as an owner, but the time between rentals isn’t always sufficient to put things back as they should be. This does not excuse the fact that the house was not properly prepared for this traveler’s arrival but based on their observations it may in part explain the poor condition of the unit upon check-in. I have been in the home a few times since this incident in an effort to thwart future problems and ensure that the traveler’s observations are addressed. They have. A more responsible and caring cleaner has been engaged, the closet bi-folds are back on the track, and the shower door now has new rollers. I am not sure what the issue was with the washing machine/dryer as a technician was called in and they are in working order. Will continue to monitor. In short, as soon as we receive a call, we do our best to address these issues in a timely and efficient manner. I have no explanation why the breaker for hot water was shut off, but based on reports from the brokerage company, the prior tenant was tinkering with the electrical panel. Unfortunately the hot/cold in the upstairs shower is a problem we inherited and based on the three plumbers who have inspected the issue, short of a total bath remodel, the problem cannot be fixed, which is why we provide the “heads up” to all tenants at the outset. I completely understand issues such as these do not make for a pleasant start to a vacation and we are always looking for ways to improve the experience.

Lovely Clean and Relaxing Space!

Great 2 level beachfront condo!

We spent a weekend at this condo and were very impressed with the location and updates done. The pictures online don't do it justice. Great views, an updated kitchen and tons of space. The only downside was that you have to walk through both the bedrooms to get to the bathrooms (really not a big deal). Overall AWESOME!
