Corinth House Rental Photos and Description

House, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Baths, Sleeps 6

You can have it all with this peaceful riverfront getaway.

Located on the scenic Hudson River, with private dockage for boating

and swimming, this two-bedroom private home features two fireplaces,

a full kitchen, and a gorgeous view of the river. Nestled behind a

private wooded campground, accessible only by private road or boat,

you can enjoy a peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle of the

rest of the world. If you would rather get into the action, then

you're only 15 miles from the shops and track at Saratoga, or 15

miles (in the other direction) to the fun times at Lake George.

Bring your boat, and tie it up to our private dock, a public launch

ramp is nearby, or feel free to use our two kayaks or canoe, free of

charge!

If a peaceful inside retreat is more your cup of tea, then the air

conditioning, HDTV, Blu-Ray DVD, cable TV, Netflix, and free WiFi will round out your 'great

escape'.

Home away from Home!!

  • 5 of 5

This was second year in a row renting the River House. Mike and Grace are so accommodating and make sure your vacation meets all expectations. Whether its sitting down by the dock and feeding the fish, or sitting up on flagstone wall and reading a book or watch the squirrels gather their nuts for the winter tranquility abounds. The River flows so peaceful that stress just flows from your body. We moved from New Jersey to Virginia between yearly visits and increased our travel time from 4.5 hrs to 10 hours but it is worth it. We will be back in 2017. Thank you Mike and Grace

Perfect Get-Away!

  • 5 of 5

This past summer we stayed here again because of the fond memories, privacy and close proximity to attractions. The house is located in between Saratoga and Lake Georges making it a perfect spot to stay and choose your venue. My wife and I cherish our morning coffee watching the river slowly flow downstream. Having a dock is also a plus because the house includes your own canoe and kayaks. My kids love this place! The Motts.

Perfect Vacation!

  • 5 of 5

We just came back from our vacation and we're missing it already!!

This cozy, immaculate house has been the perfect retreat for the past 2 years. Our family of five (including 2 teens and a tween) all LOVE it here. You can stay busy swimming, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, going for walks or just relax by the water enjoying peace and quiet. Lake George activities are only a short drive away and groceries/extras can easily be found in town to stock the fridge.

Mike was always available for questions and did everything to ensure a wonderful stay! I highly recommend if you're looking for an Adirondack getaway...this house will certainly make you smile:) Thank you Mike and Grace for sharing your home!!

Excellent stay!!

  • 5 of 5

This was one of the best vacations I have ever had!! It was so peaceful and relaxing. While the house is located on the boundary of a campground, you feel totally secluded. Waking up in the morning to fog on the lake and birds chirping is incredible!! You can not get this if you stay in a hotel or condo. I highly recommend this home. Extremely clean and well kept. We even had a visit from the housekeeper who asked if there was anything that we needed!!! I would go back in a heartbeat!!! Thank you Mike and grace for a wonderful stay.

The most relaxing vacation so far

  • 5 of 5

The house was very clean, had everything you would need for the weekend. Grocery stores were close by. But the view of the river was the most amazing part of this house, it was breathtaking. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners of the house which I loved, they were the most friendly people you could meet. We were a group of two couples in our early twenties and we enjoyed it very much. There were canoes that we took out on the river, it was great fun and gave us a good workout haha.

* Note to the owners - it would have been great if you had an additional price for renting your boat, we would have loved it :)

Thank you for having us, we'll be back!

Owner's Response: We are very happy that these guests had such a wonderful time at our "summer house" (as have so many others). The views are spectacular, the neighborhood peaceful and secluded (but certainly not remote) - just a fantastic place to get away and unwind. It is our pleasure to give that 'home away from home' feel to our guests. While we would love to make a power boat rental available as an option, that just is not practical for us due to insurance and liability issues. However, we do welcome any of our guests to bring their own power boat (or other watercraft) they might own or have access to and tie up at our bulkhead at no additional charge. For all others, there are the canoe and two kayaks included in the rental to enjoy!

Great Stay on the River

  • 5 of 5

Stayed at this location on Memorial Day weekend. Despite it being a busy Holiday weekend, the property location was quiet and relaxing. The river was perfect and we enjoyed the kayak/ canoe provided. Got in some good fishing within relatively close proximity to the dock. I would recommend morning and evening paddling on the river. It is very calm (almost like a lake) and not as busy with power boats/ jet skis.

House was clean upon arrival and had everything we needed for our stay. Owners provided helpful info prior to our arrival and gave some good tips for local attractions, shops, and food. We didn't spend much time inside as the weather was awesome during our stay.

For a day trip, we headed up to Black mountain on the eastern shore of Lake George. It was about an hour drive north, but worth the trip. Nice hike that we were able to make with our dog. Great views of the lake at the top. There are plenty of other things close by. Saratoga was only about 15 miles south and made for another great day trip.

All in all a great trip
