Cute cottage with off street parking in the city of Cody. Just a 4 block walk to the main street of town - restaurants and shopping. Buffalo Bill Center of the Westr is one mile away and the house is only 10 minutes from the Cody airport. Yellowstone Park East entrance is a one hour drive. Don't miss the famous Cody Rodeo! Great neighborhood for evening walks and there is a bakery and restaurant next door! Enjoy vacationing in Cody with the comforts of your own home. Pets welcome! This furnished house is well appointed with 2 bedrooms and one bath. There is a large fenced backyard with BBQ, patio furniture on the deck.
We are retired and enjoy traveling .
Shirley Bollinger purchased this house in 2005
We have been visiting Cody for 20 years and consider it our second home. The home is in a great location just 4 blocks from Sheridan Ave and a few miles from the airport. The house was built in 1917, but was completely renovated in 2004.
We always enjoy going to the Buffalo Bill Historical Center. There are wonderful new exhibits each summer and great special events during the year like the Pow Wow, the Buffalo Bill Art week and the Museum art auctions. Beck Lake Resevoir is a favorite walk every morning for us and our dogs. Another plus is that we always get to go through Yellowstone every summer on our visit.
Great place to park ourselves at the day's end. Came for the opening of Heart Mountain Interpretive Learning Center . Glad to be away from the crowded hotels! Will definitely return on day.
We loved loved loved this house. We stayed for 3 nights on our way to Jackson Hole. It was easy to book. Very easy, timely interatcions with Shirley throughout the booking process etc. Location of this house in a residential section of Cody was perfect. We could walk downtown easily and also enjoy lots of what Cody has to offer- nice restaurants, nice area to explore, easy access to the Beartooth Highway/Cooke City MT, hiking around the reservoir with our dog in the morning. But the best part of our visit to Cody was this house. Just the right size. Spotlessly clean. Stocked with everything we needed- coffee, detergent and dryer sheets for doing laundry. The kitchen had everything we needed. The linens were soft, the towels very fluffy and cozy. Furniture in the living room was very comfortable, chairs to use on the back deck along with a small table were a nice touch. Window air conditioners and ceiling fans kept the house quite comfortable. We were able to have our dog and 2 cats with us and were grateful for that aspect.
We are already discussing returning to Cody next summer and staying even longer in this perfect home. Thank you Shirley! We will be in touch. We promise!
We enjoyed our time here at this house, and really loved the convenience of being next door to a wonderful bakery. :) The house was very clean, and we could not have been more grateful for use of a washing machine and dryer at this point in our roadtrip. Our dogs appreciated the yard, and we appreciated a sheet being left out for us to use to cover the couch up to protect it from the dogs. A huge perk was obviously proximity to Yellowstone, but dont discount the charm of Cody! We had no idea how charming and how much to see and do there would be right there in town. We highly recommend this sweet abode!
The house was in a very good location but it sleeps 4, not 5 or 6. The air mattress did not hold air and the couch is too short for me and I'm 5'4". Also, it had not been cleaned, sheets had not been changed, towels washed, etc. But the bakery next door gets 5 stars.
We were so lucky to be able to rent this cozy and tastefully decorated home for our stay while in Cody. Fully furnished, we wanted for nothing!! Thank-you so much for providing us this opportunity♥

Our grandson had a ice hockey camp and the house was perfect. We also have friends in Cody. It was wonderful to be able to have breakfast and get our grandson to camp and visit friends. Also it was relaxing to be able to go back to the house anytime and relax in the living room. The bakery next door was wonderful also. It was nice our friends could come over and be comfortable also. The kitchen was great as well as the washer and dryer.
Wonderful stay in this rustic home. Waking up to the smells of a wonderful little bakery/bistro next door is a plus. Walking and seeing the deer grazing in yards is wonderful! Lots of rich history to be discovered in Cody. The hour drive to Yellowstone passes quickly as the view driving there is spectacular. The lack of humidity in this part of the country is wonderful. A couple things kept us from giving this property a 5 star rating but nothing that would keep us from returning. I will address the issues with the owner for future renters.
Owner was really pleasant to work with.
