About Shirley Bollinger
We are retired and enjoy traveling .
Shirley Bollinger purchased this House in 2005
Why Shirley Bollinger chose Cody
We have been visiting Cody for 20 years and consider it our second home. The home is in a great location just 4 blocks from Sheridan Ave and a few miles from the airport. The house was built in 1917, but was completely renovated in 2004.
What makes this House unique
We always enjoy going to the Buffalo Bill Historical Center. There are wonderful new exhibits each summer and great special events during the year like the Pow Wow, the Buffalo Bill Art week and the Museum art auctions. Beck Lake Resevoir is a favorite walk every morning for us and our dogs. Another plus is that we always get to go through Yellowstone every summer on our visit.

Great get away home - clean, quiet, cozy!
This was a nice, clean, quiet rental home. Even though there was a school across the street, we never heard a sound in the morning from people or traffic. All the amenities, washer, dryer, stove etc. were functional and nice to have. Did not have a single problem finding anything we needed and found a great number of kitchen amenities were provided.
Nice, cozy feel to the house. Recliner was a must as my husband has to have one to sleep. Window air conditioners worked fine, as weather was hot during our visit. TV and internet also worked fine with no problems. Bed was comfortable. Ample closet and dresser space. Nice bathroom with amenities provided as well.
Good location 2 blocks from Main Street in Cody with easy travel to grocery stores, shopping and dining. Local bakery in home next door was closed during our stay. Do not know if they closed for good or not - but this added to our peace and quiet without having to battle customer parking or noise in the morning.
Only minute criticisms are that we arrived very late at night and it was difficult to work keypad lock in the dark. Wish housekeeper had left outside light on for us. Maybe a motion light would help. Also, it was 90+ degrees during our visit and house was stifling hot on arrival. Wish window air conditioners had been turned on by housekeeper as it took 12+ hours to cool things down. Last, door had a keypad lock, but no instructions were left on how to engage it when we left for the day. However, keys were left for us to take and use to open doorknob lock.
We would definitely stay here again and recommend it for anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing get away stay when visiting Cody and Yellowstone. We enjoyed our stay and are happy we chose this property.
Nice, comfortable house right in the middle of town
Nothing fancy, but very well-appointed and homey house. Extremely clean and comfortable. Our dogs loved playing in the big back yard. The bakery next door is delicious! I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a quiet retreat in the middle of Cody and near to almost everything the town has to offer.
Clean and comfortable home situated in a great location for visiting Cody and Yellowstone. We really enjoyed our trip!
Cute and comfortable
I stayed here with my husband, two kids and two dogs for three nights. It was perfect! The back yard was great for the dogs. The house was just the right size and had everything we needed. Location was great, we could easily walk to restaurants and the downtown area. The Bistro next door was also a treat and I highly recommend their coffee, bread and lunch.
Thank you for your review. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay in our house & visiting Cody and hope you will come back again.
Great home in Cody!
We visited Cody for 4 days in early September, 2016, and stayed at this property. The owner, Shirley Bollinger, was very easy to work with and very understanding about our needs. The house was in a perfect location to get to the main street, restaurants, highways, etc. We found the house to be extremely clean and all of the linens, dishes, kitchen appliances, etc were provided to make our stay quite comfortable. The beds were comfortable, along with the pillows, and bathroom towels were really nice! We would definitely recommend this house in Cody!
Perfect location to get to Yellowstone
This is our second stay. Shirley is on top of things when you need assistance. We love the backyard bunnies and our dogs love it too! It's nothing fancy but who cares when you have such beauty to see around the area. What matters is it is comfortable and quiet. We hope to be back again😀. Thanks Shirley!
