Squaw Valley Residence is a luxury residence, situated in a prime sought after location in the heart of the charming old village of Val d’Isere, just 60m from the piste, and 100m from the main Val d'Isere shopping area. This spacious, south facing apartment has a balcony which looks out towards the famous Le Face downhill ski run on the Bellevarde mountain. The accomodation is a model of refined elegance and comfort,and comprises a spacious living room with two Natuzzi leather sofabeds, Sony PS2 & PS3/DVD player, Plasma TV, Sky+, Wifi and Hifi, a dining area with seating for 6-8, a fully equipped kitchen with bar (ceramic hob, oven, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine dryer), two bedrooms with luxury fitted bathrooms en-suite, a separate toilet with hand basin, and a built in safe. There are generous storage cupboards and wardrobe space. There is a secure ski room and locker, plus underground car parking for one car. The apartment is serviced daily.

Just a quick note to say how much we enjoyed our stay in your apartment. In both comfort and position it exceeded expectations which in these days of spin and hype is unusual indeed. The housekeeping was also discreet and thorough. All round a great week.

Had a wonderful stay with my wife and new born baby. Apartment is perfectly located for skiing, it was clean and very well equipped. Views from the balcony are fantastic. We could not recommend this apartment more highly, we shall be back. Thanks

Comfortable and Practical, 1 minute walk to the slope

Well appointed, and well resourced, very comfortable property, just 1 minute in ski boots to the slope. Easy to ski out in the morning and back in the afternoon. Picked the apartment for location location and it doesn't disappoint. Inside everything you need from a practical and luxury comfort perspective. Plenty kitchen wares to enable full catering, and a big family table. 2 1/2 bathrooms helpful. Comfortable beds, good towels, sofa beds also good quality. Nice having maid service to keep the place clean. All appliances working and in good order (used them all, oven microwave, dishwasher and washing machine). The practical locker room in the basement for ski storage, with boot heaters, meant your day always started and ended well, without junking up your apartment. Really great location, balcony looking straight on the slopes, and in the beautifully aesthetic old town, steps away from the heart of Val D'isere. 100% recommend from me, would stay again.

Excellent location, high standard, elements could do with a re-fresh.

Lovely flat, in an excellent property in a top location in Val d'Isere. Very efficient check-in and responsive support from local team. Well-supplied building (access, ski room etc).

Our suggestions would be:

- replace the carpets, which give a tired feel on arrival

- replace the plugs on the lamps to European, so they don't rely on adaptors which can easily be borrowed by UK guests and not returned

- change that ridiculous 20+ character WiFi code (which is clearly designed for the NSA mainframe). This is easy to do - was tempted to do it myself!

Very much hope to stay there again...

fantastic apartment right on the slopes

We were a family of six staying for the second week in March. This apartment is perfect for up to this many people ..there is plenty of space and privacy along with two en-suite bathrooms and a spare toilet . The sofa bed in the lounge was great . The location is excellent , we were actually able to ski off the slopes and along the last 50 yes of snowy road right into the ski room ...sure beats walking around Val D with your boots on . No complaints from us and we will be back ....

Lovely apartment in brilliant location

We had a lovely ski trip and this apartment is ideally situated for the ski lifts and restaurants and bars in Val D'Isere. Not much walking to be done!

For four of us as a family of adults there was plenty of room and the layout of the kitchen and lounge and balcony overlooking "Le Face " was perfect.

We had a couple of problems with the washing machine not working and with some bedding but the team looking after the apartment were very quick to answer any queries and sort any problem out. They were very helpful and the apartment was very clean.

So to summarize it was a great trip in a lovely apartment, with a couple of fixtures and fittings needing updating but we would definitely recommend it.

It was our first experience of booking independently and the owner was very approachable and could not have been more helpful.

The apartment is near to the church in the Val d'Isere Vieux Village (old village), just 60 metres from the pistes and 100 metres from the majority of Val d'Isere shops and restaurants.

Ski: The nursery slopes are visible from the apartments. The nearest lift (Savonette) is less than 100 metres away. At the end of the day, ski back to the apartment from the Laisinant, Solaise, Face or Bellevarde areas, or catch the free bus from Le Fornet or La Daille. Val d'Isere is ideal for late season skiing with plenty of high altitude snow enabling skiing until resort closure in early May!
