The busy season for Gatlinburg is April through October. During this time of the year Gatlinburg comes alive and people fill the sidewalks, and streets. Weekend travel is quite a challenge with more people coming than going, but they still seem to make their way to Gatlinburg and begin their Vacation.
October in Gatlinburg is truly the highlight of the season. As the fall colors paint the Smoky Mountains it's truly Gatlinburg at it's best. Bring a lot of film there are just no words that can describe what you will see. Gatlinburg seems to calm down after October, but there are still things to do. We are a family owned Vacation Cabin Rental Owner....We have been renting our cabin since the year we acquired the cabin in 2006. We enjoy sharing our cabin with others and want you to realize we are proud of our cabin here in the Great Smoky Mountains. We just ask that you enjoy our cabin and respect it as if it were your own and enjoy your stay here in the Smokies.......
Lilly Stoltz purchased this cabin in 2006
We bought this cabin because of the true cabin feel. We like having a sitting room along with a family room and a game room. Something for everyone. We chose this cabin because it is private but yet only 3 minutes to down town and we have all the nature surrounding us on our 1/2 acre lot. We made sure to put all the gaming machines in for the kids to enjoy and high speed internet for those who like to just sit and enjoy web searching. Plenty of acres to hike/walk your pet.
This cabin is only 8 minutes to Dollywood on the bypass which helps when traffic is tough. Grocery store only 2 mintues to.
So, come and enjoy our cabin with us and we hope you return for many years to come.
We love this cabin because it is only minutes to downtown and minutes to Dollywood......We are also on the bypass and it keeps us away from all major traffic during busiest times of the year...
The grocery store is only 1 1/2 mile and so is the Post Office....
From Guest Review book:
Came to Gatlinburg hoping for lots of snow....Didn't get much but Ober Gatlinburg had blown snow and we enjoyed it very much. Tubing was great for we don't ski much.
Cabin was very nice. Would recommend pizza cutter or maybe we just couldn't find it.
My children said we will be back next year.
I have been to Gatlinburg many times and this is the worst cabin or customer service have ever experienced. We brought our kids and parents with us this time for a family trip and we were HIGHLY disappointed. When I called to talk to owner of this property about the mildew and dirt in the Jets of the master tub he started yelling at me and called me a liar. He never once asked what he could do or how he could help he simply went on the defense ... so much so I had to hang up with him until my husband returns to cabin. I encourage anyone reading this to steer clear of this cabin because while you are booking they are very nice, but once you are here and see the conditions for yourself they are the rudest I have ever encountered. Please do not book this for your family. The owner will not even give us a location so we can voice what is wrong with the cabin. DO NOT BOOK THIS CABIN!!!
We could not have asked for a better trip. The cabin was BEAUTIFUL and the view was SPECTACULAR! My husband and I visited for our honeymoon and we were blown away by all the amenities. We will defiantly be returning soon!
Seems like we alway come in the hottest part of the year but this year it was a little better than last year. Gatlinburg is an awesome place with everything to do. This is the first time we have used a cabin because we usually just book a hotel. However, we will never go back to a hotel. For the price of what we have to pay for two rooms we got this cabin for less and it had a lot more amenities and privacy.
I thank the Stoltz family for letting us use their cabin for the time we were here. The clubhouse swimming pool was an excellent escape, not only for the kids but myself. It was so relaxing to hear the sound of the waterfall in the pool and we even stayed way into the evening. Made it feel as if it were our own pool.
The walk down was no problem but called the husband for a return trip because we didnt want to walk back up. Too exhausting from swimming....lol
We noticed the club house was being remodeled. Looks like it is going to be nice when finished with the flooring.
We got to see some critters trying to get into the trash bins. It was a BEAR!!! That was amazing to see. We took lots of pics. He was little but ever so cute. That will be something we will never forget. We always stayed in the hotels and never got to see critters so this was a bonus. Thanks!!!!
Cabin was great. We had 10 of us and it was very comfortable and we appreciate all you have done for us. Especially when the maintenance brought us the extra bulbs needed when the light went out on the front of the cabin. Made it easier to get groceries out of the car.
SEE you all again next year and yes in JULY again.......LOL
I will be leaving a longer review at the end of our stay. We have contacted the owner 3x with no response. This place is filthy from sticky floors to streaked up windows to mold on the shower curtain. Cabin is grossly misrepresented in size and space. There is not enough kitchen equipment for more than six. There is nothing luxury about this.
Planned a nice family holiday weekend while on leave from Camp Lejeune. It was everything we had expected and the cabin fit my family needs perfectly. We really enjoyed the location being close to down town main attractions. The very large hot tub was awesome and fit most all of us in it. Thank you for the discount you gave us. Sis said she will be back in July but I will be back on duty:-(
Thanks again and to all you Marines out there....Semper Fi
Thank you so much for trusting my group of 8 of us from TTU. We really appreiate you. Our group will definately be back to Gatlinburg; not only because its a great place to stay/visit but because we loved the location of your cabin. Hated the pool wasn't open yet but oh well we understood. We got to enjoy the pool table and ping pong which took up most of our time. Hiking was probably out most favorite. Tons of places to hike. Wow!!!
Anyhow thanks so much. I personally recommend your cabin to all who read this and my parents will definately be in contact with you for future stays in your awesome cabin.
