About the property

The Manse, approached via electric gates, is a charming Grade II listed traditional detached cottage situated in the popular village of South Creake. Just a few minutes drive south of Burnham Market, and ten minutes from the coast at Brancaster or Wells, it is well positioned to explore all of the North Norfolk coast and surrounding countryside. A much loved second home, The Manse provides spacious accommodation for up to six people, with a fully enclosed garden and high quality furnishings throughout. The living space downstairs includes a contemporary kitchen with breakfast bar, separate utility room, dining room and comfortable sitting room. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms and a twin bedroom with an en suite to the master bedroom and a family bathroom. There is a lawned garden to the front of the cottage and garden furniture for six people. The whole garden area is walled and fully enclosed. There is a pretty chapel facing in to the grounds of the cottage, which is independently owned by the Yorke Trust and has a separate access outwith the grounds of The Manse. The chapel is used periodically for classical music concerts or teaching, however this is very infrequent and takes place without disturbance to The Manse.

Restful and relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings

We stayed at the Manse house to celebrate my 40th birthday and take a well earned break from our stressful careers. My husband and I and our two children (6 & 2) had a wonderful week staying in this property. The location is excellent, very near to Burnham market with all it has to offer and a short drive away to some of the best beaches in the country. We spent a few glorious days at Holkham, one day exploring the estate on bikes and another at the beach. The house itself is lovely, very tasteful decor and everything that you could want in a holiday home. The house is a great size for a cottage, no ceiling height issues and three bathrooms plus it has a god sized kitchen with a utility. The garden is pretty and has a light up pergola for eating under outside.

We enjoyed staying in this property immensely, we come to Norfolk most years and this was our best stay yet with many happy memories made.
