A sunny relaxing home from home with large 20 metre communal pool & gardens, very safe for kids. Pool access is for residents only. Modern, well equipped 3 bed, 2 bathroom house, lounge, breakfast terrace, kitchen & utility room with all mod cons. Steps lead up from the lower terrace laid to astro turf with dining area for 6 people into the breakfast room with views overlooking the pool & garden, there are sliding doors to the front which can be opened fully in warm weather. Also includes ceiling fan, pool/beach toys, beach chairs, mats & parasol. This leads into the lounge with two comfortable sofas & foot rest, TV/DVD player with UK TV channels & WI-FI , ceiling fans & air con. Off to the front of the house are 2 bedrooms with bathroom in between. Second bedroom has 2 twin beds, built in wardrobe, bedroom furniture & air con. Third bedroom has 2 single beds, bedroom furniture & fan. Family bathroom includes bath, shower, toilet, sink, bidet, lighted mirror & hairdryer. From the back of the lounge leads into a fully equipped kitchen with utility room leading off. The kitchen includes electric hob & cooker, large fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave & all mod cons. Up the stairs from the lounge leads onto a landing area with a door off to the large rooftop sun terrace with rattan sofa set, table & chairs, looking out over the pool with beautiful sea views behind. Another door off the landing area leads to the main bedroom with a double bed, built in wardrobes, safe, bedroom furniture & air con, the bedroom affords lovely views to the sea & coast. The en suite bathroom also leads off the landing containing a shower, toilet, sink, lighted mirror & hairdryer. . The house benefits from air con, ceiling fans & all the mod cons that you need for a relaxing holiday in the sun & has access to a large 20 metre secure private pool 10 metres from house & is less than 5 minutes walk to restaurants, pubs & shops with further restaurants, cafes & shops a 5 minute drive away. It is an 8 minute drive from the numerous golden blue flag beaches of the Orihuela Costa. The nearest golf course of La Romero is 2 miles away with several other high standard golf clubs within a short driving distance.

Why Peter & Bev Williams chose Pilar de la Horadada

We have been holidaying in this part of Spain for over a decade. My parents bought a house here 20 years ago & introduced us to the area. We fell in love with it because it is typically Spanish & has it all: beautiful beaches, mountains, cycling, walking, shopping. The restaurants & food is amazing & the people very friendly. We decided to buy our property in this area because the people are so friendly, it is a quiet area & the house is very spacious overlooking the pool which we found extremely useful with children and we are only minutes from local beaches, restaurants, bars etc.

What makes this house unique

The views from the top terrace are lovely looking down to the coast, there is nothing better than sitting on your terrace of an evening, sipping a beautiful Spanish glass of wine just enjoying the peace & the views! Also great to have a great selection of 14 blue flag beaches within driving distance, the closest being 8 minutes drive away with restaurants & bars within walking distance of the house.

Rio Seco, is a natural park that lies in the middle of Pinar de Campoverde. It is a dry river bed where you can enjoy picturesque walks & view the spectacular gorge.

Mud baths are to be found along the peninsular walkway at Lo Pagan near San Pedro del Pinatar, the natural salt mud baths are on the left & the beautiful beach of San Pedro is on the right of the walkway. The mud baths are free to use, simply walk down the steps & cover yourself with the therapeutic mud, said to be good for all types of skin complaints, aches, pains & insect bites!

Markets - there are many very good local markets selling fresh fruit & vegetables, clothes, handbags, shoes etc. Pilar de la Horadada has a market every Tuesday & Friday. San Pedro del Pinatar market is on a Monday morning, Mill Palmeras is on a Tuesday afternoon, Lo Pagan & San Javier both have markets on a Thursday morning, Torre de la Horadada has a market on a Wednesday afternoon (summertime only) & Santiago de la Riberia has a market on a Wednesday morning.

Shopping Centres - La Zenia Boulavard is a new shopping centre 2 junctions down the motowary from Pinar de Campoverde (20km). It is has 150 shops & offers 5000 free parking spaces. There are also restaurants, cafes, toilets & many activities for children to enjoy.

Dos Mares shopping Centre is about 15 km from Pinar de Campoverde driving towards San Javier airport. This has a range of shops, a large supermarket, restaurants, cafes & free parking.

Casa la Pedrera is an outdoor activity centre set on the beautiful La Pedrera lake. The activities include quad biking, horseriding, archery & air rifle shooting, kayaking & canoeing, waterskiing & fishing. They also have an outdoor swimming pool, bar, cafe, tea garden & craft shop & offer a a range of activities including a summer horse & flamenco show & BBQ which is an absolutely fantastic evening set against the beautiful backdrop of the setting sun over the sparkling blue La Pedrera lake & Grand Design House.
