About Mary Anderson
My name is Mary Anderson and I manage the reservations for this house on behalf of the owners who live next door and also are the innkeepers at the 17 hundred 90 Inn. The Inn is half a block away and kind of like having a hotel restaurant & bar at your vacation home! I am a licensed Realtor.
Why Mary Anderson chose Historic District - North
Savannah is a walking city and this house is located in an ideal spot to experience the city on foot.
What makes this House unique
Having 2 bedrooms on the ground level (first floor) is something that is hard to find in Savannah! All the beautiful multistory homes include stairs which can be a problem for some people. This house is not only one of the best locations available but has 2 suites on the first floor.

Property in excellent location. Worked perfectly for walking within the historic district.
This was our second time staying at the cottage. You just can’t beat the location. House could a few repairs but over al good condition. Size was perfect for our large family.
Savannah 60's Celebration
As the name says, it is a very cozy cottage, the perfect place for six of us to celebrate our 60th birthdays. Having the two bedrooms on the first floor were perfect for our older friends, as well as not having to climb stairs to enter from the street. There was enough kitchen and den sitting for us all to visit for long hours and the location could not have been better. We were especially impressed that the owner had a new air conditioning unit installed upstairs before we returned from dinner after reporting that it was not cooling upon our arrival. Loved our stay in this charming city and hope to return again.
Perfect Girls Weekend
We enjoyed our stay at Cozy Cottage thoroughly! The cottage is in a perfect location for walking to anything you want to see or do in Savannah. It was on a quiet street, parking was easy right in front. Beds were comfy, *the upstairs mattress was quite firm. We had a group of seven, plenty of room for seating in the living room and around the dining table. We didn't do much cooking other than breakfast, but the kitchen had the basics. The upstairs AC wasn't working, but we cranked up the thermostat downstairs and turned off the upstairs ac when we were out, we also brought a fan which helped. There is a parking permit kiosk on the corner which would have made changing out parking permits easier had we known in advance. As it was we purchased the permit from the 17hundred90 restaurant around the corner and had to go back and change out the permit in the middle of the afternoon. We would have loved it if there had been a courtyard or garden to sit outside in, for coffee in the morning and a drink in the evening. There is also no easily accessible back door, which in case of emergency was a little worrisome. Overall it was clean and well appointed with linens, blankets and personal care items. The furnishings weren't new and had some wear, but there was no obvious stains and were clean. We loved it and plan to go back next year for our annual girls weekend.
We loved our little house in the historic district. We parked the car & walked almost every place. It was so nice that you left us hand soaps, etc. It was enchanting to enjoy our neighborhood, which we did at all hours of the day/evening. It would never have been the same staying in a hotel.
There was 4 of, so nice to have 3 bedrooms & 3 baths.
Cozy cottage’s name fit nicely. Thanks again
We had a wonderful stay ! The location to everything was great ! I loved how close the Square was to the house!
This location is 3 blocks from the Riverfront. Walking distance to tons of restaurants, bars, museums and tourist landmarks. Near Colonial Park Cemetery.
