About Deborah Dyer
I am a mother of 3 children, Tallulah who lives in London and has her own social media company, Blaise who is a fashion and lifestyle blogger and Caleb who is at University in Texas on a tennis scholarship. I am married to Pete who has 3 children, James, Olivia and Lara who come to stay at the weekends and holidays. We live in Lechlade with our 2 black labradors, Boris and Brian. The Cottage is our second holiday rental property. We also own The Barn Cotswolds which sits in the gardens of my home. We have a gym at home which I use to give Personal Training to guests staying at The Barn or to local residents who come more regularly. I am passionate about my family and love nothing better than having all the children at home. I love cooking, drawing, painting and calligraphy and like to spend my time making thins. My background is in fashion design so when the children were older I became a wardrobe consultant and stylist. I enjoy fine food and wine whether that be out at a pub or restaurant or at home with friends over for dinner.
Why Deborah Dyer chose Fairford
After the success of The Barn, we were looking for a second property. Living in the Cotswolds is amazing and I wanted to be able to share all that it has to offer with other people. When I first saw the cottage I knew it was the place for us. The location is perfect, on the edge of the beautiful town of Fairford and within 5 minutes walk of it's centre and with the Cotswold countryside on it's doorstep.
What makes this Cottage unique

Great and Authentic place and location!
Great and Authentic place and location! Ideally located to visit the Cotswold. Everything was as expected, would absolutely recommend it.
This is such a charming house. This house fits right into the Cotswolds - cute and nicely decorated - yet, it is also very practical. The kitchen and bathrooms are very user friendly and the beds are very comfortable. Deborah adds some wonderful extra touches as well - hot chocolate and tea in each room for the morning, robes for each guest, and some of her baked goodies for tasting (her treats are very yummy).
It is also nicely situated in the cute town - cafes, restaurants, and a small grocery store are all within easy walking distance.
I would definitely recommend this home!
Wonderful cottage for exploring the Cotswolds!
Our experience at Deborah’s cottage was great from start to finish! Excellent communication, easy to find and access, very comfortable accommodations (with extra delicious treats!) and everything we could possibly need. My only negative is location on a pretty busy road with cars flying by made me a bit nervous with my children. Also Fairford doesn’t have much for shops other than the necessities. But it was reasonably close enough to the other Cotswold towns that had more selection. All and all, a wonderful experience!
Beautiful Cotswolds cottage
We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It's in a great location a short walk into Fairford, with many Cotswolds attractions nearby. The lovely back garden leading straight out from the kitchen was a great bonus and we really appreciated the little touches, such as home-made scones with clotted cream and jam when we arrived! It felt a truly relaxing break.
We took a trip to the UK with our grown children for college graduation. The whole cottage, the town of Fairford, every detail was met with oohs and aahs! The house was just perfection! It was SUPER clean and exuded old english charm while somehow also having lovely, modern amenities and being very comfortable. The details from the homemade scones and the milk in the fridge made the experience feel all the more welcoming and intimate - like we were staying with friends. The ease of entrance and leaving via the lockbox were really great, too. The only downside: this was our first stop on a two-and-a-half week trip; it was pretty much all downhill after this one - it could not be topped! Highly recommend!! Thank you so much for making this a part of our trip - we all agreed...it was our favorite stop!!
