The villa was beautiful it had everything you could wish for. Our only complaint was accessing it on time and directions, we spent way to much time trying to get entry because it wasn’t ready, and then given wrong directions not what was needed at the beginning of our vacation. Hence my 4 stars. Improve on that and it would be perfect.
Thank you very much for your review, hope to see you back some other time!
Stunning villa in a great quiet location
My family of 8 including 6 adults, a 10 year old and a 6 year old spent 2 weeks here in August this year. When we booked we decided not to arrange a hire car as google maps suggested we may be able to walk to Vilamoura, for us however this was just too far out but using wowchauffer (the taxi company Antonio arranged for our transfer to and from the airport) we were able to arrange all our days out very easily and at very good prices (25€ for the 8 of us to Vilamoura, 35€ to Albufeira etc). The Villa itself is of a great standard. The pool is a great size and maintained regularly, the garden and seating area is well maintained too and a lovely place to relax in. Having all the facilities of a working home, washing machine, full kitchen including all utensils, dishwasher, large fridge freezer and with Supermarkets like Aldi, Intermarche and Pingo Doche just a short Uber journey away, you can eat like kings! Although Vale Judeu is a very quiet place, there a few local cafe’s, a few local shops and a great restaurant just a short walk (5minutes) from the Villa. One thing worth noting is that there is a need to make a daily trip to take the previous days rubbish to the waste bins which are located within the village, this is fine if you have a car but it’s around a 10 minute walk away so worth keeping in mind if you aren’t planning on hiring a car. Seashell/Antonio Palma was also great, resolving both issues we had with light bulbs the following day and keeping in contact with us throughout our stay to ensure we had no issues. We loved our holiday here, and would have no problem rebooking the same holiday In the future.
Thank you very much for your review and of course, you're most welcome to come back :)
The Algarve is the most popular holiday destination in Portugal: no other area in Portugal boasts such a great choice of golf courses, beaches and other leisure and sports facilities! With over 200 km shoreline and more than 300 days of sunshine per year the Algarve has become the number one holiday region of Portugal.
Portugal’s southwest coast, boasts ideal golfing conditions year around for amateur and professional golfers alike. The maximum temperatures in the Algarve fluctuate between 15 and 31 °C, with the temperature never falling below zero in the winter months.
Tourists can't miss the delicious regional gastronomy. Seek out the local restaurants and taste the delicious Algarve fish and shellfish dishes.
The region offers something for everyone, steeped in history, boasting all modern amenities for a luxury holiday, offering superb sports facilities, great local cuisine and is a very family orientated culture.
The 160 kms of Algarve's coastline offer some of Europe's most spectacular beaches, many being holders of the prestigious Blue Flags. Choose from broad expanses of white sand, small cove beaches backed by red cliffs, beaches where cosmopolitan beach parties are a summer constant, to the pristine, deserted beaches of the Western Coast.
Away from the coastline with its modern resorts, it is worth exploring the inland regions with the lush vegetation of the Monchique Mountains, traditional villages like Alte and Cacela Velha and the small villages that dot the course of the River Guadiana such as Alcoutim.
The Algarve has something for everyone with the N125 and the A22 Motorway linking East and West Algarve together meaning the entire region of the Algarve is easily accessible to explore.
