Luxury and comfort located 200 yards from Historic Cathedral Quarter of Lincoln
About Louise Lamb
Hi, I'm Louise and my husband and I purchased 50 Cecil Street in 2016. We have spent 6 months totally renovating the property to a very high standard for our holiday guests to enjoy. We were both born and live in Lincoln and are very proud of all that Lincolnshire has to offer. We hope that you enjoy visiting our City and we are confident that 50 Cecil will give you the privacy, comfort and luxury that will help your stay here to be a memorable one.

Why Louise Lamb chose Lincoln
50 Cecil is located just 200 yards from the Historic Cathedral Quarter of Lincoln and with "Permit Parking" with no restrictions and no parking fees, this means there is nowhere better to stay to give you easy access to all that Lincoln has to offer whilst enjoying the comfort and space that your own home can provide above and beyond a Hotel room.
What makes this House unique
2 large bedrooms (the second bedroom offers either 2 single beds for the kids, or a king size bed for a couple) plus upstairs bathroom with separate bath and shower. This property also benefits from a downstairs cloakroom and large outdoor garden. Cecil street is widely regarded as the Best Terraced Street in Lincoln. It is simply a short 2 minute walk to the best that Lincoln has to offer.

Excellent, comfortable stay.
Exactly as described on the website. It is lovely, comfortable, central location and would stay again. A real gem.
Steep stairs put us off
The property was beautifully presented with everything you could possibly desire. The bed was extremely comfortable and the street was quiet giving you a good nights sleep.
Unfortunately the stairs up were quite narrow and steep and I fell down them twice. It was awkward having two steps down from the bedroom immediately after the door . A motion activated light came on immediately after I’d fallen ( I must have been too quick for it).
We found the flat quite far away from the shops and restaurants and had to take taxis as the bus service stopped at 6.30.
Although in fairness it was very convenient for the castle, cathedral and the museum of Lincoln Life.
Cannot recommend this property highly enough. This was our second stay here and just as excellent as the first. Louise ,the lovely owner ,makes sure everything is pristine, as well as providing all the amenities ( best equipped kitchen we’ve ever experienced in self catering accommodation. )The house is beautifully decorated and 5mins walk from Bailgate , the cathedral and castle. A free street parking permit is included and we never had a problem finding a space . Lots of decent bars and restaurants to visit in Lincoln- can also recommend International Bomber Command Centre and river boat trip. All in all a perfect stay.
A gem of a cottage quietly tucked away but near the Bailgate
We arrived early and met the lovely owner Louise. We were made to feel very welcome. The cottage was immaculate with everything you could want. Lovely comfortable furniture and beds. TV with selection of DVDs, books, CD player and docking station. Extremely well equipped kitchen with lovely welcome pack. The whole cottage was spotless and very tastefully decorated, a pleasure to get back to in the evenings. The garden was lovely too but the weather didn't allow us to enjoy it. We parked right outside with the permit, no problems.
Altogether a beautiful, comfortable place to stay in Lincoln and we hope to return next year.
Very well appointed house in a great location. Totally agree with previous feedback.
We would be happy to stay again.
Ricky and his wife were great guests and are welcome back any time.
Comfortable & fully equiped
A perfectly delightful home in an ideal location to explore Lincoln on foot & travel to surrounding towns & villages.
Everything we could possibly need was available in the property & the essential residents parking permit.
