Spacious, convenient and economical
This townhouse was located across the street from the train station making transportation into Copenhagen and other cities in Denmark very easy. There are 2 large bedrooms, a laundry room and a bath on the ground floor and a well-equipped kitchen, living room, dining area and large bath on the 2nd floor. Camilla was very helpful in providing instructions and touring information of the area. Within short walking distance there was a 7/11 store and a small grocery store where we could get supplies. Our only complaint was that money transfer was difficult and our deposit was not fully refunded because of fees incurred.
Schöne geräumige Unterkunft - liebevoll eingerichtet
Tolle Unterkunft in guter Lage!
Danke!
Wir kommen jederzeit gerne wieder.
Great base for a weekend in Copenhagen
We stayed in Lykke's lovely home for a long weekend in Copenhagen.
The house was excellent and had everything we needed, we were a group of 6 and had plenty of space! It is very conveniently located and is an easy walk into Copenhagen city centre and there is a reasonably priced supermarket nearby.
Lykke was an excellent and accommodating host and we would happily stay in the property again in the future!
Thank you so mush it mean a lot to me. You are always welcome ;-))
Walking - You can walk to a number of great destinations from our house. The sea is accessible from almost anywhere and there is a great beach only 15-20 minutes from our home by bike. The island we live on was part of the military and Specifically the Danish navy for 300 years. During att period it was closed til public and it blev public in the beginning of the 1990's. Since then the area kill during gone a huge transformation and many of the old historic buildings now host all the creative arts universiteter som academy of architecture, the Danish design school, the music conservatory and much more. In addition, a lot of newly build houses and apartment buildings havebeen turned in to accommodation for common people.
On Refshaleøen you will still find many of the old buildings som ikke er yet transformed into modern life. This island också home to one of største naval ship yards in Denmark, der operated indtil det 1996. At its peak it employed 10 000 but, som where sailed to and from work every day, as they were not allowed to enter through the military area att we now live in. Many of the buildings look abandoned, but on a closer look you will find at mange av dem are now housing artists and other creative people. It is worth exploring.
We are neighbors også til free town Christiania, with its laid back atmosphere, quirky houses and green area. It is most definitely også worth a visit and you can enter by the back way and experience a side of the free town att not many tourists do.
