This bungalow is a quaint "cottage style" property situated in a quiet residential area with a green to the front which is ideal for an afternoon of cricket. There is also a pathway which, following a short walk, will take you to the delightful beach at Friars Cliff.
LOCAL AREA: Friars Cliff is quieter than nearby Avon Beach, the beach is sandy and slightly stony. A short drive, or a comfortable walk, away you will find Mudeford Quay which is situated at the entrance to Christchurch Harbour and provides spectacular views out to sea. The Quay is a popular sailing and windsurfing centre throughout the year and there is a public slipway on site and an extensive dinghy park facility. A ferry runs from the Quay Head to Mudeford Sandbank. Mackerel fishing trips and speed boat cruises operate from the Quay and crabbing continues to be a popular activity along the seafront promenade. The beaches at Avon and Friars Cliff are easily accessed from the Quay via Gundimore Promenade which extends eastwards from the Quay. A short coastal trip offers many attractions including Christchurch with its harbour, charming architecture and choice of riverside walks. Bournemouth, Boscombe and even Southampton are on offer all within driving distance should a shopping spree appeal.
