2 bedrooms, BOTH EN-SUITE – sleeps 4
Built in 2005 in the traditional style of a Mani Tower House. Situated on a 900 square metre plot amidst olive trees and surrounded by a traditional style stone wall. The interior design is simple with a clean homely feel.
The villa comprises of: two bedrooms, one is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, the other is twin-bedded with en-suite shower room. Both bedrooms have french windows which open onto a balcony with amazing views of the sea, they have recently been fitted with air conditioning. The open plan lounge/diner has french windows which open onto a covered veranda (this offers a cool retreat in the summer months). From the veranda there are two paths through the garden, one leads to the BBQ area and PRIVATE SWIMMING POOL (the pool 9 x 4 metres). The pool is normally filled in May and maintained until October. There is also a cold water shower. The other path takes you to a door in the wall at the bottom of the garden, this opens onto what was an old mule path and is approximately a 10 minute walk to the sand/shingle beach at Pantazi.
There is also a sunset terrace on the roof, but access is very steep and adult supervision is required but well worth the view.
AIRPORTS: Kalamata Airport, Charter flights operate between May and October but British Airways also now run a service to Kalamata. There are also scheduled flights to Athens which run throughout the year. The drive from Athens taking the old toll road has some spectacular scenery which takes approx. 3.5 hours. There is also a newer toll road.
