The Orangery Retreat, is a luxurious retreat from frenetic life as we know it. Set in the historic part of the village of Tursi the apartment has a stunning view of the 13th Century Saint Francis Convent and the 8th century Arabic village of the Rabatana where another two aparttments are being lovingly restored.
Cosy in the winter it has full central heating and a fabulous log fire, two low chaise longues pulled up in front of the fire make for a romantic night in. Add a glass or two of my homemade red wine and to soak in the clawfoot bath with Bergamot essential oil and homemade soap, its perfect relaxation ..
The double bed on the mezzanine floor is super comfy with Egyptian cotton bed clothes and goose down pillows and duvet.
The kitchen area is very well equipped for foodies like me, robots, electric mixer, juicer, new Smeg cooker, big fridge, washing machine and dishwasher.
Small but glamorous seperate bathroom and claw foot bath in a cave complete the winter look.
In the summer the east facing balcony is a total joy and somewhere to soak up the rays early, the flower filled terrace is the perfect place for breakfast under the big umbrella and for sundowners.
