Two bedrooms, contemporary, luxourious retreat with a large garden and sea views
The house has been completely renovated within the last year to create a lovely, light relaxing space. From the front door you are immediately immersed into the sitting room, with a large sofa, comfy arm chairs, a wood burner and views stretching out over the sea.
The two bedrooms on the next floor are simple, calm and restful. One with a gorgeous queen sized bed and the other with a funky set of solid wood bunk beds. Both with crisp white 400 thread count linen ensuring lazy holiday lie-ins.
The bathroom is on the same floor. White metro tiles, an over sized sink and towel rail, underfloor heating and fluffy White Company towels. There is a lovely rain shower and far reaching sea views.
The kitchen is situated on the lower level beneath the sitting room. Clean lines, underfloor heating and fully equipped with everything you could need if you weren't taking advantage of the fantastic restaurants, pubs and cafes the village has to offer.
It has Miele appliances, an integrated fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine, a cooker, induction hob and microwave.
The kitchen leads out onto a really lovely large garden. There is ample patio space for taking advantage of the BBQ, or just lazing with a coffee and the Sunday papers.
My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with kids).

About Chloe Watts
I grew up in Mousehole from the age of 7. I would run home from school, change into my swimming costume and spend the next few hours playing in the harbour, it was completely idyllic. We no longer live in the village, only a few miles away, but my parents do and I will always call it home. I am a mum to two energetic little girls and I work part time in a restaurant in St Ives, another beautiful part of Cornwall.
Chloe Watts purchased this House in 2015
Why Chloe Watts chose Mousehole
My Sister and her husband purchased this property in 2015 and together with my husband we have tried to created a gorgeous, comfortable, contemporary place from which to enjoy Mousehole and the surrounding area. The Property was originally a net loft and pilchard store. We completely gutted the house, taking it back to Cobb walls, and uncovering pieces of its past including a pilchard press, now located in the garden! we then put it back together, piece by piece during a year long project which we hope has culminated in a place that is simple, welcoming, comfortable and a little luxurious.
What makes this House unique
The house itself has wonderful south facing views which stretch over the gardens and rooftops to the sea beyond. For a cottage in Mousehole it is surprisingly spacious and beautifully light. It has a large, private back garden, stretching to 26 meters in length, which is incredibly rare in such a small place. There is ample room for alfresco dining, making use of the BBQ and maybe picking up some local seafood from Newlyn only a couple of miles away. There is an outside shower to wash off all the sand and salt from the harbour which is only two minutes walk down the road, and plenty of room to stretch out on the sun loungers and let go of time.

A lovely little house, beautifully and generously modernised, in a really nice village.
This place was perfect for us. The kitchen has classy fittings, and the whole place is very well furnished.
Chloe left us goodies galore, even Prosecco, and couldn't have been more helpful. Parking was fine (and free!)
We visited the classic W Cornish places and saw lots of wildlife, scenery and history. Recommend the cafe at Mullion Cove - all cafes should be like this.
Mousehole has 2 very good restaurants, a good pub and lots of cafes (which we didn't use, we were always out).
Lovely house, in a lovely location with the added bonus if parking. Perfect for a family of 4
High end furnishings; fabulous
It wasn't just the great location (with a parking space just a short stroll) that made this a 5 star review. It's right in the heart of this quaint little fishing village with enough cafes and restaraunts in walking distance to not bother with cooking, even for breakfast. But if cooking is your thing you will not be disappointed; the German kitchen is beautifully equipped.
We really enjoyed quality of the furnishing, and inteligent design of the interior. The sizeable garden is a massive plus in the summer I'm sure. What a find!
The house is perfect. The gorgeous interior makes this house feel like a home as soon as you step through the door. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need and the underfloor heating was a treat!!
Upstairs, perfection continues. The bedrooms are comfy and the bathroom is beautiful. The loctation of the house is also perfect!! A 2 minute walk to the sea front, cafe and pub. We also used the parking space up the road which was useful when we couldn’t park outside the house.
Chloe was very helpful and was on hand if we needed her.
We had the most amazing time, so much so I wanted to stay longer.
I would 100% recommend staying at this house.
Can’t wait to go back :-)
Wonderful stay in charming accommodation
Very well decorated, stylish and comfortable. Everything has been thought of. We couldn't fault this lovely retreat in Mousehole and would go back again.
The cottage was simply devine and we enjoyed our stay very much. It exceeded our expectations!
It was our first visit to Mousehole and we lived it. Our cottage was in a great location with views of the coastline and very convenient. The property was simply excellent with great facilities including a practical outside hot shower for when we swam in the harbour. The cottage contents left nothing to detail and was perfect for our family of 4 including our 2 children. It was so quiet in the evening which aided sleeping and we felt very relaxed during our stay. We would highly recommend the cottage to others
Mousehole is the perfect spot to get away from it all. There are beautiful coastal walks right on your door step. There are fantastic beaches nearby, many which are great for water sports. St Ives is only a short drive which has some fantastic restaurants, boutique shops, as well as the Tate gallery and Barbra Hepworth Museum. Another local place of interest nearby is the Minack Theatre carved into the cliff overlooking the beautiful beach Porthcurnow. There is so much to see and do, but equally the perfect place to just relax and let the world go by.
