About Stan Dabroski
Sue and I grew up in the Hudson Valley region of New York State. As our family grew, we found Florida to be the perfect place to vacation. There are endless things to see and do in Florida. There was no question, we had to invest in our own 'Florida vacation home.' We chose the southwest coast of Florida because of its proximity to Sanibel and Captiva Islands. We hope you'll enjoy all that Southwest Florida has to offer and that you'll want to keep coming back in the future! Stan and Sue, Newburgh, NY.
Stan Dabroski purchased this House in 2005
Why Stan Dabroski chose Joel
Sue & I chose Lehigh Acres because of its proximity to the beaches of Sanibel, Captiva, and Fort Myers and its peaceful 'country like' atmosphere. Lehigh is close enough to the entertainment that a ocean community offers yet far enough from the crowds and traffic. Many of our guests have commented about the quiet and peacefulness of our neighborhood.
What makes this House unique
You will enjoy a morning walk or cycle around the quiet neighborhood followed by a swim in the pool upon your return. At night, relax in the spa with a glass of wine while observing the star-filled sky. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation away from home, with all of the amenities that you demand, you have come to the right place.

The home is beautiful. Pool was freezing but after we got ahold of the owner we were able to straighten that out. Great Home to relax and enjoy
We have stayed at this property seven times since 2012. We have also reserved the house for 2019. We started staying for five weeks in 2012. Since we liked the property so well we have increased our reservations to seven weeks. These stays have always included the months of January and February.
The owner is flexible on check-in days and check-out days. He also does not require you stay the entire month as opposed to other properties with hard line requirements.
The owner has updated the property each year, and made major improvements before our recent visit. He asked us to comment on the recent improvements along with any other suggestions for future improvements.
We like the large backyard which allows us to practice our golf game. We are not beach people, therefore we enjoy the more rural setting as opposed to other locations where the houses are about six feet apart. The permanent residents and the renters on this street are very friendly. This is a quiet area and very relaxing. Golf is close by at very reasonable rates.
The owner, Stan, and his local manager, Martina, have always responded to any issues immediately. We have contacted the owner on some issues and he has responded that same day. We have always found the home to be clean and ready for occupancy.
We enjoy the lanai with the cozy sitting areas, the heated pool, and the spa. The entire outside area is very private.
We highly recommend this house for your next relaxing get-away.

Clean for most part
We rented the house because of the heated pool and spa! We get there and the heat on the pool was NOT working! Then trying to reach Martina the property manager was a night mare!! The first night I was so tired didn’t even think about checking the sheets before we got in bed. My husband the next morning said they smelled to him. I thought the same. Pulled back the blanket and you could CLEARLY SEE THEY WERE SOILED SHEETS we slept in..That morning I took a shower and when I started drying off the towel smelt like it had sat in the washer for two day! So I had to shower again! The T.V in one of the bedroom didn’t work. Then we figured out the remote needed battery’s! Which MARTINA was suppose to bring AND DID NOT. We rented this home 1 hour away from the beach because it had the pool and spa!! The solar panel was not on the pool when we arrived! I totally feel this problem could have been prevented if the property manager did her job of taking care of the home before we arrived! The pool should’ve been checked and ready for us!! We were only offered back the $30 for the pool for the week! And the owner also said he fired the cleaning crew and would give us the money back for the cleaning fee. We take a family vacation once a year! And have NEVER EVER had issues like this!! This home is also located in a rough area!! I would not feel comfortable being out past dark in this area!! Probably would not stay in leghigh again!! The only positive was, the owner did return calls and was nice! But, that does not matter when your vacation is about renting a home with a pool and spa!! AND YOU DO NOT GET WHAT YOU RENT!
As we welcome all reviews from our renters, I’m sure you can understand our concern upon reading yours. Maintaining and updating our home has been a full time job since purchasing this house. We have always prided ourselves on this so that all our renters can have a relaxing & enjoyable vacation. Unfortunately, as with any house, things do break down and eventually need to be replaced, such the case with the pool heater. Florida was experiencing an unusual cold snap before and during your stay at our home, therefore when we received Martina’s call that the pool was not heating up, we first thought that the heater was just taking a bit longer than normal to raise the temperature in the pool. After speaking with you both we immediately arranged for our pool service to come to the house to inspect the problem. Even though it was Christmas Day they did take the time to stop over and access the problem. It was then found that the heater was beyond repair and that it needed to be replaced. A new pool heater was installed 2 days later. We would never want this to happen to anyone during their long awaited vacation, but it was beyond our control.
As far as the linens are concerned, we have never had a complaint of soiled or musty smelling linens. We have a cleaning service come in after every renter to make sure everything is clean and ready for the next vacationers. Towels and sheets are inspected and replaced as needed. After speaking with you, we asked Martina to go to the house to check the linens and if necessary, launder again or purchase new linens for you. She stated to us that she did not find the linens as you reported but had them laundered for your peace of mind. We rely on Martina who has managed our home for 13 years. Our renters always support this by praising her on how quick and professional she is to respond to their needs. After speaking with you and Martina several times throughout the first couple days of your stay, we were confident that all issues had been resolved to the best of our ability. Although it did not rectify the problems we did refund the cleaning fee and spa heater fee totaling $170. Most of our renters comment how much they like the area and especially the peace and quiet in our neighborhood. There will always be areas wherever you visit that may be less than desirable as we experienced even in HAWAII, but that is not the case in our neighborhood. Again, we are sorry that your vacation was not all that you expected
Perfect family Getaway
Stan and Sue's home is very welcoming and they keep up with maintance of the house, very clean. Makes you feel at home. We live in a busy Chicago neighborhood so having some peace and quiet was great since it's located in a peaceful little town. The house is close to some beautiful beaches and it was great to come back and just barbecue and swim in the pool, while also relaxing in the hot tub. Thank you so much Stan and Sue for sharing your beautiful home with us, you gave my family wonderful memories to cherish for the rest of our lives. Also Martina was very prompt at answering our questions whenever we needed help.
Vanessa & The Garcia Family
We have vacationed in Florida but never have we experienced such comfort like this home. From the day of first contact until the day we checked out this was the most comfortable and easy process ever. Stan and his team (Martina) were the best host ever. I loved this home and my family has made it clear that this home will be a vacation regular. Stan thanks again for an amazing experience.
You're welcome Ken. Sue & I are glad that your family enjoyed their stay. Have a Healthy & Happy holiday season.
Stan and Sues house is located in a quiet neighborhood, which was perfect for morning walks with our 1 year old son. The house has everything you need, speakers for the pool area, BBQ, and a pool which was fantastic, there is really too much too list. Martina was also kind and helped check us in, all were very responsive too questions we had and we appreciated that. I would definitely recommend this place if staying in the area. The house has everything needed for long stays and is truly a house that is lived in, not just a rental property. Extremely clean! I would definitely recommend this place to my family and friends. Thanks for a great trip Stan & Sue.
